This hadith has been reported on the authority of Safiyya, the wife of Allah's Apostle ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ), through another chain of transmitters (and the words) are: She went to Allah's Apostle ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) to visit him as he was observing I'tikaf in the mosque during Ramadan. She talked with him for some time and then stood up to go back and Allikh's Apostle ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) stood up in order to bid her good-bye. The rest of the hadith is the same except with the variation of the words that Allah's Apostle ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) said: Satan penetrates in man like the penetration of blood (in every part of body).

و حَدَّثَنِيهِ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الدَّارِمِيُّ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُسَيْنٍ أَنَّ صَفِيَّةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَخْبَرَتْهُ أَنَّهَا جَاءَتْ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَزُورُهُ فِي اعْتِكَافِهِ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فِي الْعَشْرِ الْأَوَاخِرِ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ فَتَحَدَّثَتْ عِنْدَهُ سَاعَةً ثُمَّ قَامَتْ تَنْقَلِبُ وَقَامَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقْلِبُهَا ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ بِمَعْنَى حَدِيثِ مَعْمَرٍ غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ يَبْلُغُ مِنْ الْإِنْسَانِ مَبْلَغَ الدَّمِ وَلَمْ يَقُلْ يَجْرِي

شعیب نے زہری سے روایت کی ، کہا : مجھے علی بن حسین نے بتایا کہ انھیں نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی اہلیہ محترمہ حضرت صفیہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا نے خبر دی کہ وہ رمضان کے آخری عشرے میں نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے اعتکاف کے دوران مسجد میں آپ سے ملنے آئیں ، انھوں نے گھڑی بھر آپ سے بات کی ، پھر واپسی کے لئے کھڑی ہوگئیں ۔ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم بھی ان کو واپس چھوڑنے کےلیے کھڑی ہوگئیں ۔ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم بھی ان کو واپس چھوڑنے کے لئے کھڑے ہوگئے ۔ اس کے بعد ( شعیب نے ) معمر کی حدیث کے ہم معنی حدیث بیان کی ، مگر انھوں نے کہا : رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : " شیطان انسان کے اندر وہاں پہنچتا ہے جہاں خون پہنچتاہے ۔ انھوں نے " دوڑتا ہوا " نہیں کہا ۔

Abu Waqid al-Laith reported that Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) was sitting in the mosque along wish tome people when there came to him three persons; two of them stepped forward to the direction of Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ), and one of them went away. The two stood by the side of Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ), and one of them found a space in his circle and he sat in that; and the other one sat behind him and the third one went away. When Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) had finished his work, he said. Should I not inform you about these three persons? One of them sought refuge with Allah and Allah gave him refuge and the second one felt shy and Allah showed kindness to has shyness (and so he was accommodated in that meeting), and the last one reverted and Allah turned away His attention from him.

Ibn 'Umar reported Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) having said: None of you should make another one stand in the meeting and then occupy his place.

Ibn 'Umar reported Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) as saying: No person should ask another person to stand at his place and then he should himself sit there, but he should simply say: Make room and accommodate.

Ibn 'Umar reported Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) as saying: None should make one'& brother stand and then sit at his place (and it was common with) Ibn Umar that when any person stood in the company (with a view to making room for him) he did not sit there.
