Translation

Amir b. Sa'd b. Abu Waqqas, on the authority of his father, reported Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) having said: He who ate seven dates (of the land situated) between these two lava plains in the morning, no poison will harm him until it is evening.

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ بْنِ قَعْنَبٍ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ بِلَالٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ أَكَلَ سَبْعَ تَمَرَاتٍ مِمَّا بَيْنَ لَابَتَيْهَا حِينَ يُصْبِحُ لَمْ يَضُرَّهُ سُمٌّ حَتَّى يُمْسِيَ

عبد اللہ بن عبد الرحمٰن نے عامر سعد بن ابی وقاص سے ، انھوں نے اپنے والد سے روایت کی کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نےفرما یا : جس شخص نے صبح کے وقت مدینہ کے دوپتھریلے میدانوں کے درمیان کی ساتھ کھجوریں کھا لیں ، اس کو شام تک کو ئی زہر نقصان نہیں پہنچا ئے گا ۔

Amir b. Sa'd b. Abu Waqqas reported Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) as saying: He who ate seven 'ajwa' dates in the morning, poison and magic will not harm him on that day.

Sa'id b. Zaid reported: I heard Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) as saying: Truffles are a kind of blessing and their juice is a medicine for the eyes. Shu'ba said: When Hakam narrated this hadith to me, I did not deem it as a Munkar hadith because of the narration of Abd al-Malik.
