Ishaq b. Suwaid reported through the same chain of transmitters but for the difference that he substituted the word gourd for waterskin (meant for preserving wine).

و حَدَّثَنَاه إِسْحَقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ الثَّقَفِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَقُ بْنُ سُوَيْدٍ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ جَعَلَ مَكَانَ الْمُزَفَّتِ الْمُقَيَّرَ

عبدالوہاب ثقفی نے کہا : ہمیں اسحاق بن سوید نے اسی سند کے ساتھ حدیث بیان کی مگر انھوں نے روغن زفت ملے ہوئے برتن کی بجائےمقير ( روغن قار ملا برتن ) بتایا ۔ ( دونوں سے ایک ہی چیز ، نباتاتی تیل مراد ہے ۔ )

Ibn 'Abbas reported that there came to Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) a group of people from the tribe of 'Abd al-Qais. Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) said to them: I forbid you to prepare Nabidh in gourd, in pitcher besmeared with pitch, in hollow stump and in waterskin (meant for preserving wine). In the hadith transmitted on the authority of Hammad the word. gourd has been used in place of waterskin .
