Ab? K?mil al-Jahdar? narrated to us, Hamm?d- and he is Ibn Zayd- narrated to us, he said ?sim [bin Bahdalah] narrated to us, he said: ?We would catch up with Ab? Abd ar-Rahman as-Sulam? and at the time we were young men, so he would say to us: ?Do not sit with story-tellers other than Ab?l-Ahwas and beware of Shaq?q [Ab? Abd ar-Rah?m]?.
