Translation

This hadith has been transmitted on the authority of Ibn Abu Aufa with a slight variation of words.

وحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعُ بْنُ الْجَرَّاحِ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ أَبِي أَوْفَى، يَقُولُ: دَعَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِ خَالِدٍ، غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: «هَازِمَ الْأَحْزَابِ»، وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ قَوْلَه«اللهُمَّ»،

وکیع بن جراح نے ہمیں اسماعیل بن ابی خالد سے حدیث بیان کی ، انہوں نے کہا : میں نے ابن ابی اوفیٰ رضی اللہ عنہ سے سنا ، وہ کہہ رہے تھے : رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے دعا کی ۔ ۔ ( آگے ) خالد کی حدیث کے مانند ہے ، البتہ انہوں نے " ( اے ) لشکروں کو شکست دینے والے " کے الفاظ کہے اور آپ کے فرمان " اللهم " کا ذکر نہیں کیا

It is narrated on the authority of Anas that the Messenger of Allah ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) said on the day of the Battle of Uhud: O Allah, if Thou wilt (defeat Muslims), there will be none on the earth to worship Thee.

It is narrated on the authority of 'Abdullah that a woman was found killed in one of the battles fought by the Messenger of Allah ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ). He disapproved of the killing of women and children.

It is narrated by Ibn 'Umar that a woman was found killed in one of these battles; so the Messenger of Allah ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) forbade the killing of women and children.

It is reported on the authority of Sa'b b. Jaththama that the Prophet of Allah ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ), when asked about the women and children of the polytheists being killed during the night raid, said: They are from them.
