Translation

It is narrated on the authority of Anas that the Messenger of Allah ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) said on the day of the Battle of Uhud: O Allah, if Thou wilt (defeat Muslims), there will be none on the earth to worship Thee.

وحَدَّثَنِي حَجَّاجُ بْنُ الشَّاعِرِ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَقُولُ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ: «اللهُمَّ، إِنَّكَ إِنْ تَشَأْ لَا تُعْبَدْ فِي الْأَرْضِ

حضرت انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ ( جنگِ ) احد کے دن رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ( بار بار ) یہ فرما رہے تھے : " اے اللہ! اگر تو یہ چاہتا ہے تو ( آج کےبعد ) زمین میں تیری عبادے نہ کی جائے گی ۔ " ( تیری عبادت کرنے والی آخری امت ختم ہو جائے گی

It is narrated on the authority of 'Abdullah that a woman was found killed in one of the battles fought by the Messenger of Allah ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ). He disapproved of the killing of women and children.

It is narrated by Ibn 'Umar that a woman was found killed in one of these battles; so the Messenger of Allah ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) forbade the killing of women and children.
