Jabir b. Abdullah (Allah be pleased with them) reported: Allah's Apostle ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) visited the orchard of Umm Ma'sud and said: Umm Ma'bad. he who has planted this tree, is he a Muslim or a non-Muslim? She said: Of course, he is a Muslim, whereupon he (the Holy Prophet) said: No Muslim who plants (trees) and from their fruits the human beings or the beasts or birds eat, but that would be taken as an act of charity on the Day of Resurrection.
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ، يَقُولُ: دَخَلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى أُمِّ مَعْبَدٍ حَائِطًا، فَقَالَ: «يَا أُمَّ مَعْبَدٍ، مَنْ غَرَسَ هَذَا النَّخْلَ؟ أَمُسْلِمٌ أَمْ كَافِرٌ؟» فَقَالَتْ: بَلْ مُسْلِمٌ، قَالَ: «فَلَا يَغْرِسُ الْمُسْلِمُ غَرْسًا، فَيَأْكُلَ مِنْهُ إِنْسَانٌ، وَلَا دَابَّةٌ، وَلَا طَيْرٌ، إِلَّا كَانَ لَهُ صَدَقَةً إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ
  مجھے عمرو بن دینار نے بتایا کہ انہوں نے حضرت جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے سنا ، کہہ رہے تھے : نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ام معبد رضی اللہ عنہا ( خلیدہ ، حضرت زید بن حارثہ رضی اللہ عنہ کی اہلیہ ، ان کی دوسری کنیت ام مبشر بھی تھی ) کے پاس باغ میں تشریف لے گئے تو آپ نے پوچھا : " ام معبد! یہ کھجور کے درخت کس نے لگائے ہیں ، کسی مسلمان نے یا کافر نے؟ " انہوں نے عرض کی : بلکہ مسلمان نے ۔ آپ نے فرمایا : " جو بھی مسلمان درخت لگاتا ہے ، پھر اس میں سے کوئی انسان ، چوپایہ اور پرندہ نہیں کھاتا مگر وہ اس کے لیے قیامت کے دن تک صدقہ ہوتا ہے

Jabir b. Abdullah (Allah be pleased with them) reported Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) saying: If You sell fruits to your brother (and Jabir b. Ahduthh reported through another chain of narrators: If you were to sell fruits to your brother) and these is a stricken with Calamity, it is not permissible for you to get anything from him. Why do you get the wealth of your brother, without jutification?

Anas (Allah be pleased with him) reported that Allah's Apostle ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) forbade the sale of the fruit of date-palms until it becomes mellow. We (some of the other narrators in the chain of transmitters) said: What does the word mellow mean? He said: (There the fruit) turns red or yellow. Don't you see if Allah had checked (the growth of) fruits; then what for the wealth of your brother would be permissible for you?
