Jabir b. 'Abdullah al-Ansari (Allah be pleased with them) reported that Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) entered Mecca and Qutaiba (another narrator) stated that he entered Mecca in the Year of Victory, wearing a black turban, but not wearing the Ihram.

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى التَّمِيمِيُّ، وَقُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الثَّقَفِيُّ، قَالَ يَحْيَى: أَخْبَرَنَا، وقَالَ قُتَيْبَةُ: حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ الدُّهْنِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دَخَلَ مَكَّةَ - وَقَالَ قُتَيْبَةُ: دَخَلَ يَوْمَ فَتْحِ مَكَّةَ - وَعَلَيْهِ عِمَامَةٌ سَوْدَاءُ بِغَيْرِ إِحْرَامٍ ، وَفِي رِوَايَةِ قُتَيْبَةَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ

یحییٰ بن یحییٰ تمیمی اور قتیبہ بن سعید چقفی نے ہمیں حدیث بیان کی ۔ ۔ ۔ یحییٰ نے کہا : ہمیں معاویہ بن عمار دہنی نے ابو زبیر سے خبر دی اور قتیبہ نے کہا : ہمیں حدیث بیان کی ۔ ۔ ۔ انھوں نے جا بر بن عبد اللہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ انصاری رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت کی کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم مکہ میں دا خل ہوئے ۔ ۔ ۔ قتیبہ نے کہا : فتح مکہ کے دن ۔ ۔ ۔ بغیر احرا م کے داخل ہو ئے اور آپ ( کے سر مبا رک ) پر سیا ہ عمامہ تھا ۔ قتیبہ کی روایت میں ہے ( معاویہ بن عمار نے ) کہا : ہمیں ابو زبیر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے حضرت جا بر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے حدیث بیان کی ۔

Jabir b. Abdullah reported that Allah's Apostle ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) entered on the day of Victory of Mecca wearing a black turban on his head.

Amr b. Huraith reported on the authority of his father that Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) addressed the people (on the day of the Victory of Mecca) with a black turban on his head.

Ja'far b. 'Amr b. Huraith reported his father as saying: As if I am seeing Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) on the pulpit with a black turban on his head, and its two ends hanging between his shoulders. Abu Bakr (another narrator) did not make mention of: Upon the pulpit .

Abdullah b. Zaid b. 'Asim (Allah be pleased with him) reported Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) as saying: Verily Ibrahim declared Mecca sacred and supplicated (for blessings to be showered) upon its inhabitants, and I declare Medina to be sacred as lbrahim had declared Mecca to be sacred. I have supplicated (Allah for His blessings to be showered) in its sa' and its mudd (two standards of weight and measurement) twice as did Ibrahim for the inhabitants of Mecca.

Rafi' b. Khadij reported Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) as saying: Ibrahim declared Mecca as sacred and I declare sacred the area between its two stony grounds (lava lands by which he meant Medina).
