Usama b. Zaid (Allah be pleased with him) said: Allah's Messenger, God willing, where will you stay tomorrow? And it was at the time of the Conquest (of Mecca). Thereupon he (the Holy Prophet) said: Has 'Aqil left any accommodation for us?
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مِهْرَانَ الرَّازِيُّ، وَابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، وَعَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، جَمِيعًا عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ، قَالَ ابْنُ مِهْرَانَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ حُسَيْنٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ عُثْمَانَ، عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، أَيْنَ تَنْزِلُ غَدًا؟ وَذَلِكَ فِي حَجَّتِهِ حِينَ دَنَوْنَا مِنْ مَكَّةَ، فَقَالَ: «وَهَلْ تَرَكَ لَنَا عَقِيلٌ مَنْزِلًا»
  معمر نے زہری سے انھوں نے علی بن حسین سے انھوں نے عمرو بن عثمان سے اور انھوں نے اسامہ بن زید رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت کی ، ( انھوں نے کہا ) میں نے عرض کی : اے اللہ کے رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ! آپ کل کہاں قیام کریں گے ؟یہ بات آپ کے حج کے دورا ن میں ہو ئی جب ہم مکہ کے قریب پہنچ چکے تھےتو آپ نے فرمایا : " کیا عقیل نے ہمارے لیے کو ئی گھر چھوڑا ہے ! "

Al-'Ali' b. al-Hadrami reported Allah's Messenger (may peace he upon as saying: For a Mahijir, it is only three (days') stay at Mecca, after completing (the Hajj or 'Umra) that is allowed, and it seemed as if he was saying that he should not (stay) beyond this (period).
