Abdullah b. 'Amr b. al-As (Allah be pleased with them) said: As Allah's Messenger (may peace be'upon him) was standing near the jamra, a person came to him on the Day of Nahr and said: Messenger of Allah, I got (my head shaved) before throwing pebbles, whereupon he (the Holy Prophet) said: Throw pebbles (now) ; there is no harm in it. Another man (then) came and said: I have sacrificed before throwing the stones. He said: Throw stones (now) and there is no harm. Another came to him and said: I have observed the circumambulation of Ifada of the House before throwing pebbles. He said: Throw pebbles (now) ; there is no harm in it, He (the narrator) said: I did not see that he (the Holy Prophet) was asked about anything on that day, but he said: Do, and there is no harm in it.

وحَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ قُهْزَاذَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي حَفْصَةَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عِيسَى بْنِ طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَأَتَاهُ رَجُلٌ يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ وَهُوَ وَاقِفٌ عِنْدَ الْجَمْرَةِ، فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنِّي حَلَقْتُ قَبْلَ أَنْ أَرْمِيَ، فَقَالَ: «ارْمِ وَلَا حَرَجَ» وَأَتَاهُ آخَرُ فَقَالَ: إِنِّي ذَبَحْتُ قَبْلَ أَنْ أَرْمِيَ، قَالَ: «ارْمِ وَلَا حَرَجَ» وَأَتَاهُ آخَرُ، فَقَالَ: إِنِّي أَفَضْتُ إِلَى الْبَيْتِ قَبْلَ أَنْ أَرْمِيَ، قَالَ: «ارْمِ وَلَا حَرَجَ» قَالَ: فَمَا رَأَيْتُهُ سُئِلَ يَوْمَئِذٍ عَنْ شَيْءٍ، إِلَّا قَالَ «افْعَلُوا وَلَا حَرَجَ»

محمد بن ابی حفصہ نے ہمیں زہری سے خبر دی انھوں نے عیسیٰ بن طلحہ سے اور انھوں نے عبد اللہ بن عمرو بن عاص رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت کی ، انھوں نے کہا : میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے سنا جب آپ کے پاس قر بانی کے دن ایک آدمی آیا آپ جمرہ عقبہ کے پاس رکے ہو ئے تھے ۔ اس نے عرض کی اے اللہ کے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ! میں نے رمی کر نے سے پہلے سر منڈوالیا ہے آپ نے فر ما یا : " ( اب رمی کر لو کو ئی حرج نہیں ۔ ایک اور آدمی آیا ۔ وہ کہنے لگا : میں نے رمی سے پہلے قر با نی کر لی ہے ؟ آپ نے فر ما یا : " ( اب ) رمی کر لو کو ئی حرج نہیں پھر آپ کے پاس ایک اور آدمی آیا اور کہا میں نے رمی سے پہلے طواف افاضہ کر لیا ؟ ہے ؟فر ما یا : " ( اب ) رمی کر لو کو ئی حرج نہیں ۔ کہا : میں نے آپ کو نہیں دیکھا کہ اس دن آپ سے کسی بھی چیز ( کی تقدیمو تا خیر ) کے بارے میں سوال کیا گیا ہو مگر آپ نے یہی فر ما یا : " کر لو کو ئی حرج نہیں ۔

Ibn Abbas (Allah be pleased with them) reported that it was said to Allah's Apostle ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) about sacrificing of animals, shaving of one's head, throwing of pebbles, and (the order of) precedence and succession, and he said: There is no harm in it.

Ibn Umar reported that Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) observed the circumambulation of Ifada on the Day of Nabr (10th of Dhu'l-Hijja), and then came back and observed the noon prayer at Mina. Nafi' (one of the narrators) said that Ibn Umar used to observe the circumambulation of Ifada on the Day of Nahr, and then return and observe the noon prayer at Mina, and mentioned that Allah's Apostle ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) did that.

Abd al-'Aziz b. Rufai' (Allah be pleased with him) said: I asked Anas b. Malik to tell me about something he knew about Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ), viz. where he observed the noon prayer on Yaum al-Tarwiya. He said: At Mina. I said: Where did he observe the afternoon prayer on the Yaum an-Nafr? and he said: It was at al-Abtah. He then said: Do as your rulers do.

Ibn 'Umar (Allah be pleased with him) reported that Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) and Abu Bakr and 'Umar observed halt at al-Abtah.

Nafi' reported that Ibn 'Umar regarded halt at Muhassab as Sunnah (of the Holy Prophet) and observed the noon prayer on Yaum al-Nafr at that place. Nafi' said: Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) halted at Muhassab and the Caliphs did the same after him.

A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported.: Halt at al-Abtah is not the Sunnah. Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) halted there simply because it was easier for him to depart from there, when he left.
