Nafi' reported on the authority of 'Abdullah (Allah be pleased with him) that Allah's Messenger (way peace be upon him) did not touch but the Stone and the Yamani corner.
وحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ، «ذَكَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ لَا يَسْتَلِمُ إِلَّا الْحَجَرَ وَالرُّكْنَ الْيَمَانِيَ»
  خالد بن حارث نے عبیداللہ سے ، انھوں نے نافع سے ، انھوں نے عبداللہ ( بن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ ) سے روایت کی ۔ انھوں نےبتایا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم حجر اسود اوررکن یمانی کے علاوہ کسی اور کونے کااستلام نہیں کرتے تھے ۔

Ibn 'Umar (Allah be pleased with them) reported: I have not abandoned touching of Yamani corners (and kissing of) the Stone since I saw Allah's messneger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) touching them both In hardship and ease.

NAfi' (Allah be pleased with him) reported: I saw'lbn 'Umar (Allah be pleased with them) touching the Stone with his hand and then kissing his hand. and he said: I have never abandoned it since I saw Allah's Messenger (way peace be upon him) doing It.

Salim narrated on the authority of his father (Allah be pleased with him) that 'Umar b. al-Khattib (Allah be pleased with him) kissed (the Black Stone) and then said: By Allah, I know that you are a stone and if I were not to see Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) kissing you, I would not have kissed you. Harun said in his narration: A hadith like this has been transmitted to me by Zaid b. Aslam on the authority of his father Aslam.

Ibn 'Umar (Allah be pleased with them) reported that Umar (Allah be pleased with him) kissed the Stone and said: I am kissing you, whereas I know that you are a stone, but I saw Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) kissing you (that Is why I kiss you).

Abdullah b. Sarjis reported: I saw the bald one, i. e. 'Umar b. Khattib (Allah be pleased with him). kissing the Stone and saying: By Allah. I am kissing with full consciousness of the fact that you are a stone and that you can neither do any harm nor good; and if I had not seen Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) kissing you. I would not have kissed you. The rest of the hadith is the same.
