Ibn al-Sa'di reported: 'Umar b. Khattab (Allah be pleased with him) appointed me as a collector of Sadaqat. The rest of the hadith in the same.

و حَدَّثَنِي هَارُونُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْأَيْلِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ بُكَيْرِ بْنِ الْأَشَجِّ عَنْ بُسْرِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ ابْنِ السَّعْدِيِّ أَنَّهُ قَالَ اسْتَعْمَلَنِي عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَلَى الصَّدَقَةِ بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِ اللَّيْثِ

عمرو بن حارث نے بکیر بن اشج سے ، انھوں نے بسر بن سعید سے اور انھوں نے ابن سعدی سے روایت کی کہ انھوں نےکہا : مجھے حضرت عمر بن خطاب رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے صدقہ وصول کرنے کے لئے عامل بنایا ۔ ۔ ۔ ( آگے ) لیث کی حدیث کی طرح ( روایت بیان کی ۔ )

Anas reported Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) as saying: If the son of Adam were to possess two valleys of riches. he would long for the third one. And the stomach of the son of Adam is not filled but with dust. And Allah returns to him who repents.
