Abdullah b. Shakhkhir reported on the authority of his father that he said: I said prayer with the Messenger of Allah ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) and saw him spitting and rubbing it off with his shoe.

حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ الْعَنْبَرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا كَهْمَسٌ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الشِّخِّيرِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: «صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَرَأَيْتُهُ تَنَخَّعَ فَدَلَكَهَا بِنَعْلِهِ»

کہمس نے یزید بن عبداللہ بن شخیر سے ، انھوں نے اپنے والد سےروایت کی ، انھوں نےکہا : میں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کے ساتھ ( آپ کی اقتدا میں ) نماز ادا کی ، میں نے آپ کو دیکھا کہ آپ نے ( گلے سے ) بلغم نکالا اور ( چونکہ پاؤں کے نیچے ریت تھی اس لیے ) اسے اپنے جوتے سے مسل دیا ۔

Abdullah b. Shakhkhir narrated it on the authority of his father that he said prayer with the Messenger of Allah ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ), and he spat and then rubbed it off with his left shoe.

Sa'd b. Yazid reported: I said to Anas b. Malik: Did the Messenger of Allah ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) pray while putting on the shoes? He said: Yes.

A'isha reported: The Apostle of Allah ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) prayed in a garment which had designs over it, so he (the Holy Prophet) said: Take it to Abu Jahm and bring me a plain blanket from him, because its designs have distracted me.

A'isha reported: The Messenger of Allah ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) stood for prayer with a garment which had designs over it. He looked at these designs and after completing the prayer said: Take this garment to Abu Jahm b. Hudhaifa and bring me a blanket for it has distracted me just now.

A'isha reported: The Apostle of Allah (way peace be upon him) had a garment which had designs upon it and this distracted him in prayer. He gave it to Abu Jahm and took a plain garment in its place which is known anbijaniya.
