Jabir b. Samura reported: The Apostle of Allah ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) used to recite in the noon prayer: Glorify the name of thy Most High Lord in the morning prayer longer than this (lxxxvii.)
وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ فِي الظُّهْرِ بِـ {سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى} [الأعلى: 1] وَفِي الصُّبْحِ بِأَطْوَلَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ
  ابو داؤد طیالسی نے شعبہ سے ، انہوں نے سماک سے اور انہوں نے حضرت جابر بن سمرہ رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت کی کہ نبی اکرمﷺ ظہر کی نماز میں ﴿سبح اسم ربك الأعلى﴾ ( اور اپنے پروردگار کے اونچے نام کی تسبیح کر ) پڑھتے اور صبح کی نماز میں اس سے لمبی قراءت کرتے تھے ۔

(Upon this) she remarked: O my son, you reminded me by the recitation of this surah (the fact) that it was the last surah that I heard from the Messenger of Allah ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) and he recited it in the evening prayer.
