Narrated Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri: I heard Allah's Apostle saying, A good dream is a part of the forty six parts of prophetism.

حَدَّثَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ حَمْزَةَ ، حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ أَبِي حَازِمٍ وَالدَّرَاوَرْدِيُّ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ خَبَّابٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : الرُّؤْيَا الصَّالِحَةُ جُزْءٌ مِنْ سِتَّةٍ وَأَرْبَعِينَ جُزْءًا مِنَ النُّبُوَّةِ .

ہم سے ابراہیم بن حمزہ نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے ابراہیم بن ابی حازم اور عبدالعزیز دراوری نے بیان کیا، ان سے یزید بن عبداللہ نے بیان کیا، ان سے عبداللہ بن خباب نے، ان سے ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ انہوں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا کہ نیک خواب نبوت کے چھیالیس حصوں میں سے ایک حصہ ہے۔

Narrated Abu Huraira: I heard Allah's Apostle saying, Nothing is left of the prophetism except Al-Mubashshirat. They asked, What are Al-Mubashshirat? He replied, The true good dreams (that conveys glad tidings).

Narrated Abu Huraira: I heard the Prophet saying, Whoever sees me in a dream will see me in his wakefulness, and Satan cannot imitate me in shape. Abu `Abdullah said, Ibn Seereen said, 'Only if he sees the Prophet in his (real) shape.'

Narrated Anas: The Prophet said, Whoever has seen me in a dream, then no doubt, he has seen me, for Satan cannot imitate my shape.

Narrated Abu Qatada: The Prophet said, A good dream is from Allah, and a bad dream is from Satan. So whoever has seen (in a dream) something he dislike, then he should spit without saliva, thrice on his left and seek refuge with Allah from Satan, for it will not harm him, and Satan cannot appear in my shape.
