Narrated Ibn `Umar: Some people were shown the Night of Qadr as being in the last seven days (of the month of Ramadan). The Prophet said, Seek it in the last seven days (of Ramadan).

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ ، عَنْ عُقَيْلٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، أَنَّ أُنَاسًا أُرُوا لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ فِي السَّبْعِ الْأَوَاخِرِ ، وَأَنَّ أُنَاسًا أُرُوا أَنَّهَا فِي الْعَشْرِ الْأَوَاخِرِ ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : الْتَمِسُوهَا فِي السَّبْعِ الْأَوَاخِرِ .

ہم سے یحییٰ بن بکیر نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے لیث بن سعد نے بیان کیا، ان سے عقیل نے بیان کیا، ان سے ابن شہاب نے بیان کیا، ان سے سالم بن عبداللہ نے، ان سے ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے کہ کچھ لوگوں کو خواب میں شب قدر ( رمضان کی ) سات آخری تاریخوں میں دکھائی گئی اور کچھ لوگوں کو دکھائی گئی کہ وہ آخری دس تاریخوں میں ہو گی تو نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ اسے آخری سات تاریخوں میں تلاش کرو۔

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, If I stayed in prison as long as Joseph stayed and then the messenger came, I would respond to his call (to go out of the prison) .

Narrated Abu Huraira: I heard the Prophet saying, Whoever sees me in a dream will see me in his wakefulness, and Satan cannot imitate me in shape. Abu `Abdullah said, Ibn Seereen said, 'Only if he sees the Prophet in his (real) shape.'

Narrated Anas: The Prophet said, Whoever has seen me in a dream, then no doubt, he has seen me, for Satan cannot imitate my shape.

Narrated Abu Qatada: The Prophet said, A good dream is from Allah, and a bad dream is from Satan. So whoever has seen (in a dream) something he dislike, then he should spit without saliva, thrice on his left and seek refuge with Allah from Satan, for it will not harm him, and Satan cannot appear in my shape.
