Narrated `Aisha: The Prophet said, The hand of a thief should be cut off for stealing a quarter of a Dinar.

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي أُوَيْسٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ وَهْبٍ ، عَنْ يُونُسَ ، عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ ، وَعَمْرَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : تُقْطَعُ يَدُ السَّارِقِ فِي رُبُعِ دِينَارٍ .

ہم سے اسماعیل بن ابی اویس نے بیان کیا، ان سے ابن وہب نے بیان کیا، ان سے یونس نے، ان سے ابن شہاب نے، ان سے عروہ بن زبیر نے، ان سے عمرہ نے اور ان سے ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے بیان کیا کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”چور کا ہاتھ ایک چوتھائی دینار پر کاٹ لیا جائے گا۔“
