Narrated Ibn `Umar: Allah's Apostle forbade that a Muhrim should wear clothes dyed with Saffron or Wars, and said, Whoever has no shoes can put on Khuffs (socks made from thick fabric or leather) after cutting it below the ankles.

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، قَالَ : نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يَلْبَسَ الْمُحْرِمُ ثَوْبًا مَصْبُوغًا بِزَعْفَرَانٍ أَوْ وَرْسٍ وَقَالَ : مَنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ نَعْلَيْنِ فَلْيَلْبَسْ خُفَّيْنِ وَلْيَقْطَعْهُمَا أَسْفَلَ مِنَ الْكَعْبَيْنِ .

ہم سے عبداللہ بن یوسف تینسی نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم کو امام مالک نے خبر دی، انہوں نے کہا ہمیں عبداللہ بن دینار نے اور ان سے عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے بیان کیا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے محرم کو زعفران یا ورس سے رنگا ہوا کپڑا پہننے سے منع فرمایا تھا اور نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ جسے جوتے نہ ملیں وہ موزے ہی پہن لیں لیکن ان کو ٹخنے کے نیچے تک کاٹ دیں۔

Narrated Ibn `Abbas: The Prophet said, Whoever has no Izar (waist sheet), can wear trousers; and whoever has no sandals, can wear Khuffs (socks made from thick fabric or leather, but cut them short below the ankles).

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, If you want to put on your shoes, put on the right shoe first; and if you want to take them off, take the left one first. Let the right shoe be the first to be put on and the last to be taken off.
