Narrated `Aisha: When the last verses of Surat-al-Baqara were revealed, the Prophet went out (of his house to the Mosque) and said, The trade of alcohol has become illegal.

حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ أَبِي الضُّحَى ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا ، لَمَّا نَزَلَتْ آيَاتُ سُورَةِ الْبَقَرَةِ عَنْ آخِرِهَا ، خَرَجَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ : حُرِّمَتِ التِّجَارَةُ فِي الْخَمْرِ .

ہم سے مسلم بن ابراہیم نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم سے شعبہ نے بیان کیا، ان سے اعمش نے بیان کیا، ان سے ابوضحی نے، ان سے مسروق نے، ان سے عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے بیان کیا کہ جب سورۃ البقرہ کی تمام آیتیں نازل ہو چکیں تو نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم باہر تشریف لائے اور فرمایا کہ شراب کی سوداگری حرام قرار دی گئی ہے۔

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, Allah says, 'I will be against three persons on the Day of Resurrection: -1. One who makes a covenant in My Name, but he proves treacherous. -2. One who sells a free person (as a slave) and eats the price, -3. And one who employs a laborer and gets the full work done by him but does not pay him his wages.'

Narrated Anas: Amongst the captives was Safiya. First she was given to Dihya Al-Kalbi and then to the Prophet.

Narrated Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri: that while he was sitting with Allah's Apostle he said, O Allah's Apostle! We get female captives as our share of booty, and we are interested in their prices, what is your opinion about coitus interrupt us? The Prophet said, Do you really do that? It is better for you not to do it. No soul that which Allah has destined to exist, but will surely come into existence.

Narrated Zaid bin Khalid and Abu Huraira: that Allah's Apostle was asked about an unmarried slave-girl who committed illegal sexual intercourse. They heard him saying, Flog her, and if she commits illegal sexual intercourse after that, flog her again, and on the third (or the fourth) offense, sell her.
