Narrated Abu Musa: Allah's Apostle said, The example of a good companion (who sits with you) in comparison with a bad one, is I like that of the musk seller and the blacksmith's bellows (or furnace); from the first you would either buy musk or enjoy its good smell while the bellows would either burn your clothes or your house, or you get a bad nasty smell thereof.
حَدَّثَنِي مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بُرْدَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا بُرْدَةَ بْنَ أَبِي مُوسَى ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : مَثَلُ الْجَلِيسِ الصَّالِحِ ، وَالْجَلِيسِ السَّوْءِ ، كَمَثَلِ صَاحِبِ الْمِسْكِ ، وَكِيرِ الْحَدَّادِ ، لَا يَعْدَمُكَ مِنْ صَاحِبِ الْمِسْكِ ، إِمَّا تَشْتَرِيهِ أَوْ تَجِدُ رِيحَهُ ، وَكِيرُ الْحَدَّادِ يُحْرِقُ بَدَنَكَ أَوْ ثَوْبَكَ ، أَوْ تَجِدُ مِنْهُ رِيحًا خَبِيثَةً .
ہم سے موسیٰ بن اسماعیل نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم سے عبدالواحد نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم سے ابوبردہ بن عبداللہ نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا کہ میں نے ابوبردہ بن ابی موسیٰ سے سنا اور ان سے ان کے والد موسیٰ رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا نیک ساتھی اور برے ساتھی کی مثال کستوری بیچنے والے عطار اور لوہار کی سی ہے۔ مشک بیچنے والے کے پاس سے تم دو اچھائیوں میں سے ایک نہ ایک ضرور پا لو گے۔ یا تو مشک ہی خرید لو گے ورنہ کم از کم اس کی خوشبو تو ضرور ہی پا سکو گے۔ لیکن لوہار کی بھٹی یا تمہارے بدن اور کپڑے کو جھلسا دے گی ورنہ بدبو تو اس سے تم ضرور پا لو گے۔

Narrated Anas bin Malik: Abu Taiba cupped Allah's Apostle so he ordered that he be paid one Sa of dates and ordered his masters to reduce his tax (as he was a slave and had to pay a tax to them).

Narrated Aisha: (mother of the faithful believers) I bought a cushion with pictures on it. When Allah's Apostle saw it, he kept standing at the door and did not enter the house. I noticed the sign of disgust on his face, so I said, O Allah's Apostle! I repent to Allah and H is Apostle . (Please let me know) what sin I have done. Allah's Apostle said, What about this cushion? I replied, I bought it for you to sit and recline on. Allah's Apostle said, The painters (i.e. owners) of these pictures will be punished on the Day of Resurrection. It will be said to them, 'Put life in what you have created (i.e. painted).' The Prophet added, The angels do not enter a house where there are pictures.
