Jubair bin Mut'im narrated that : the Prophet said: O Banu Abd Manaf! Do not prevent anyone from performing Tawaf around this House, and Salat, whichever hour it is of the night or day.

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَمَّارٍ، وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ خَشْرَمٍ، قَالَا:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بَاباهَ، عَنْ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ يَا بَنِي عَبْدِ مَنَافٍ لَا تَمْنَعُوا أَحَدًا طَافَ بِهَذَا الْبَيْتِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَصَلَّى أَيَّةَ سَاعَةٍ شَاءَ مِنْ لَيْلٍ أَوْ نَهَارٍ . وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَبِي ذَرٍّ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ حَدِيثُ جُبَيْرٍ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَدْ رَوَاهُ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بَاباهَ أَيْضًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَدِ اخْتَلَفَ أَهْلُ الْعِلْمِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ وَبَعْدَ الصُّبْحِ بِمَكَّةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ بَعْضُهُمْ:‏‏‏‏ لَا بَأْسَ بِالصَّلَاةِ وَالطَّوَافِ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ وَبَعْدَ الصُّبْحِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَهُوَ قَوْلُ الشَّافِعِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَحْمَدَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَإِسْحَاق، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَاحْتَجُّوا بِحَدِيثِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ هَذَا. وقَالَ بَعْضُهُمْ:‏‏‏‏ إِذَا طَافَ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ لَمْ يُصَلِّ حَتَّى تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَكَذَلِكَ إِنْ طَافَ بَعْدَ صَلَاةِ الصُّبْحِ أَيْضًا لَمْ يُصَلِّ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَاحْتَجُّوا بِحَدِيثِ عُمَرَ أَنَّهُ طَافَ بَعْدَ صَلَاةِ الصُّبْحِ فَلَمْ يُصَلِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَخَرَجَ مِنْ مَكَّةَ حَتَّى نَزَلَ بِذِي طُوًى فَصَلَّى بَعْدَ مَا طَلَعَتِ الشَّمْسُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَهُوَ قَوْلُ سُفْيَانَ الثَّوْرِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمَالِكِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ.

جبیر بن مطعم رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”اے بنی عبد مناف! رات دن کے کسی بھی حصہ میں کسی کو اس گھر کا طواف کرنے اور نماز پڑھنے سے نہ روکو“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- جبیر مطعم رضی الله عنہ کی حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- عبداللہ بن ابی نجیح نے بھی یہ حدیث عبداللہ بن باباہ سے روایت کی ہے، ۳- اس باب میں ابن عباس اور ابوذر رضی الله عنہم سے بھی احادیث آئی ہیں، ۴- مکے میں عصر کے بعد اور فجر کے بعد نماز پڑھنے کے سلسلے میں اہل علم کا اختلاف ہے۔ بعض کہتے ہیں: عصر کے بعد اور فجر کے بعد نماز پڑھنے اور طواف کرنے میں کوئی حرج نہیں ہے۔ یہ شافعی، احمد اور اسحاق بن راہویہ کا قول ہے ۱؎ انہوں نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی حدیث ۲؎ سے دلیل لی ہے۔ اور بعض کہتے ہیں: اگر کوئی عصر کے بعد طواف کرے تو سورج ڈوبنے تک نماز نہ پڑھے۔ اسی طرح اگر کوئی فجر کے بعد طواف کرے تو سورج نکلنے تک نماز نہ پڑھے۔ ان کی دلیل عمر رضی الله عنہ کی حدیث ہے کہ انہوں نے فجر کے بعد طواف کیا اور نماز نہیں پڑھی پھر مکہ سے نکل گئے یہاں تک کہ وہ ذی طویٰ میں اترے تو سورج نکل جانے کے بعد نماز پڑھی۔ یہ سفیان ثوری اور مالک بن انس کا قول ہے۔

Jabir bin Abdullah narrated: During the two Rak'ah of Tawaf, the Messenger of Allah recited the two Surat of Ikhlas, Say: O you disbelievers! and: Say: He is Allah, (the) One.

Zaid bin Uthai said: XI asked Ali: What is it that you were sent with? He said: With four things: None will be admitted into Paradise except for the soul that is a Muslim. None is to perform Tawaf around the House while naked. The Muslims and the idolaters will not be gathering (in Makkah) together after this year. And for whomever there is a covenant between him and the Prophet, then his covenant is (valid) until its term, and for that in which there was no term, then it shall be four months.

Aishah narrated: The Prophet left me while he had a joyous look of contentment and he returned to me grieving. So I asked him about that and he said: 'I entered the Ka'bah, and I wished that I had not done it. I fear that my Ummah will follow me (in that) after me.'

Ibn Umar narrated from Bilal: The Prophet performed Salat in the interior of the Ka'bah. And Ibn Abbas said: He did not perform Salat in it, but he said the Takbir.
