Maimunah said: I and Allah's Messenger would perform Ghusl for Janabah from one vessel.

حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الشَّعْثَاءِ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَتْنِي مَيْمُونَةُ، قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ كُنْتُ أَغْتَسِلُ أَنَا وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَهُوَ قَوْلُ عَامَّةِ الْفُقَهَاءِ:‏‏‏‏ أَنْ لَا بَأْسَ أَنْ يَغْتَسِلَ الرَّجُلُ وَالْمَرْأَةُ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ. قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ عَلِيٍّ،‏‏‏‏ وَعَائِشَةَ،‏‏‏‏ وَأَنَسٍ،‏‏‏‏ وَأُمِّ هَانِئٍ،‏‏‏‏ وَأُمِّ صُبَيَّةَ الْجُهَنِيَّةِ،‏‏‏‏ وَأُمِّ سَلَمَةَ،‏‏‏‏ وَابْنِ عُمَرَ. قال أبو عيسى:‏‏‏‏ وَأَبُو الشَّعْثَاءِ اسْمُهُ:‏‏‏‏ جَابِرُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ.

عبداللہ بن عباس رضی الله عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ مجھ سے میمونہ رضی الله عنہا نے بیان کیا کہ میں اور رسول اللہ صلی الله علیہ وسلم دونوں ایک ہی برتن سے غسل جنابت کرتے تھے ۱؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- اکثر فقہاء کا یہی قول ہے کہ مرد اور عورت کے ایک ہی برتن سے غسل کرنے میں کوئی حرج نہیں، ۳- اس باب میں علی، عائشہ، انس، ام ہانی، ام حبیبہ، ام سلمہ اور ابن عمر رضی الله عنہم سے بھی احادیث آئی ہیں۔

Abu Hajib narrated from a man from Banu Ghifar who said: The Prophet prohibited using the leftover (water) of a woman's Purification.

A1-Hakim bin Amr AI-Ghifari narrated that: The Prophet forbade that a man should perform Wudu with the leftover (water) from a woman's purifcation. Or, he said: from her drinking.

Ibn Abbas narrated: One of the wives of the Prophet performed Ghusl with a bowl. Allah's Messenger wanted to perform Wudu with it, so she said: 'O Messenger of Allah! Indeed I am ]unub.' So he said: 'Indeed, water does not become Junub.'

Abu Sa'eed AI-Khudri narrated: It was said, 'O Allah's Messenger! Shall we use the water of Buda'ah well to perform ablution while it is a well in which menstruation rags, flesh of dogs and the putrid are dumped? Allah's Messenger said: 'Indeed water is pure, nothing makes it impure.'

Ibn Umar narrated: I heard AlIah's Messenger while he was being asked about water in open areas of the land, and predators and beasts come to it. He said: 'So Allah's Messenger said: 'When the water is two Qullah it does not carry filth.'
