Ibn Umar narrated that : The Prophet (S) said: May Allah have mercy upon a man who prays four before Al-Asr.
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُوسَى، وَمَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ، وَغَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّوْرَقِيُّ، قَالُوا:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ، سَمِعَ جَدَّهُ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ رَحِمَ اللَّهُ امْرَأً صَلَّى قَبْلَ الْعَصْرِ أَرْبَعًا . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ حَسَنٌ.
عبداللہ بن عمر رضی الله عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”اللہ تعالیٰ اس شخص پر رحم کرے جس نے عصر سے پہلے چار رکعتیں پڑھیں“ ۱؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: یہ حدیث غریب حسن ہے۔

Abdullah bin Mas'ud narrated: I can not enumerate (how many times) I heard Allah's Messenger (S) reciting - in the two Rak'ah after Al-Maghrib and the two Rak'ah before Salatul-Fajr with: Say: O you disbelievers! and Say: He is Allah the One.
