Aishah narrated that : Allah's Messenger (S) said: The two Rak'ah of Fajr are better than the world and what is in it.

حَدَّثَنَا صَالِحُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ التِّرْمِذِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ زُرَارَةَ بْنِ أَوْفَى، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ رَكْعَتَا الْفَجْرِ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ عَلِيٍّ،‏‏‏‏ وَابْنِ عُمَرَ،‏‏‏‏ وَابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ حَدِيثُ عَائِشَةَ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَدْ رَوَى أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ التِّرْمِذِيِّ حَدِيثَ عَائِشَةَ.

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی الله عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی الله علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”فجر کی دونوں رکعتیں دنیا اور دنیا میں جو کچھ ہے ان سب سے بہتر ہیں“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- عائشہ رضی الله عنہا کی حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- اس باب میں علی، ابن عمر، اور ابن عباس رضی الله عنہم سے بھی احادیث آئی ہیں۔ جنہیں رسول اللہ صلی الله علیہ وسلم ان میں پڑھتے تھے۔

Ibn Umar narrated: I watched the Prophet (S) for a month. In the two Rak'ah before Fajr he would recite: Say: O you disbelievers! and Say: Allah is One .

Aishah narrated: When Allah's Messenger (S) prayed the two Rak'ah (before) Fajr if he needed something from me he would talk to me, if not, he would go to Salat.

Ibn Umar narrated that: Allah's Messenger (S) said: There is no Salat after Al-Fajr (begins) except two prostrations.

Abu Hurairah narrated that: Allah's Messenger (S) said: When one of you prays the two Rak'ah of Fajr then let him lay down on his right (side).

Qais narrated: Allah's Messenger (S) went out and the Iqamah was called for the Salat so I prayed As-Subh with him. Then the Prophet (S) turned and found me performing Salat so he said: 'Easy O Qais! Are there two prayers together?' I said: 'O Messenger of Allah! I did not perform the two Rak'ah (before) Fajr.' He said: 'Then there is no harm.'
