Narrated Jarir bin 'Abdullah: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) never screened me since I accepted Islam, nor did he look at me except that he laughed.
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْأَزْدِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا زَائِدَةُ، عَنْ بَيَانٍ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ جَرِيرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ مَا حَجَبَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مُنْذُ أَسْلَمْتُ وَلَا رَآنِي إِلَّا ضَحِكَ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ.
جریر بن عبداللہ بجلی رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   جب سے میں اسلام لایا ہوں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مجھے ( اجازت مانگنے پر اندر داخل ہونے سے ) منع نہیں فرمایا ۱؎ اور جب بھی آپ نے مجھے دیکھا آپ مسکرائے۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے۔

Narrated Ibn Abi Mulaikah: from 'Aishah, that the Prophet (ﷺ) saw a lamp in the house of Az-Zubair, so he said: O 'Aishah, I do not think except that Asma has given birth, so do not name him until I should name him. So he named him 'Abdullah, and he (performed Tahnik) with a date that was in his hand.
