Narrated Ibn 'Abbas: The Prophet (ﷺ) died when he was sixty-five years old.

حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجَهْضَمِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ الْحَذَّاءُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَمَّارٌ مَوْلَى بَنِي هَاشِمٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تُوُفِّيَ وَهُوَ ابْنُ خَمْسٍ وَسِتِّينَ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَسَنُ الْإِسْنَادِ صَحِيحٌ.

عبداللہ بن عباس رضی الله عنہما کا بیان ہے کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی وفات ہوئی تو آپ پینسٹھ ( ۶۵ ) سال کے تھے۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: یہ حدیث حسن ہے۔

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas: The Prophet (ﷺ) stayed in Makkah for thirteen years - meaning while he was receiving Revelation - and he died when he was sixty-three years old.

Narrated Jabir [bin 'Abdullah]: that he heard Mu'awiyah bin Abi Sufyan giving a Khutbah, saying: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) died when he was sixty-three years old, and so did Abu Bakr and 'Umar, and I am sixty-three years old.

Narrated 'Abdullah bin Shaqiq: I said to 'Aishah: 'Which of the Companions of the Prophet (ﷺ) were the most beloved to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)?' She said: 'Abu Bakr.' I said: 'Then who?' She said: 'Then Abu 'Ubaidah bin Al-Jarrah.' He said: I said: 'Then who?'' He said: Then she was silent.
