Abu Hurairah or Abu Sa`eed Al-Khudri narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Indeed, Allah has angels who go about on the earth in addition to the Kuttab of people. So when they find groups of people remembering Allah, they call to one another: ‘Come to that which you have been seeking.’ They will come and cover them up to the lowest heaven. Allah will say: ‘What were My worshippers doing when you left them?’ They will say: ‘We left them as they were praising You, glorifying You, and remembering You.’” He (ﷺ) said: “So He will say: ‘Have they seen Me?’ They say: ‘No.’” He (ﷺ) said: “So He will say: ‘How would it be had they seen Me?’ They will say: ‘Had they seen You, they would have been more ardent in praise of You, more ardent in glorification of You, more ardent in remembrance of You.’” He (ﷺ) said: “So He will say: ‘And what do they seek?’” He (ﷺ) said: “They will say: ‘They seek Paradise.’” He (ﷺ) said: “So He will say: ‘So have they seen it?’” He (ﷺ) said: “So they will say: ‘No.’” He (ﷺ) said: “So He will say: ‘So how would it be had they seen it?’” He (ﷺ) said: “They will say: ‘Had they seen it, they would be more ardent in seeking it, and more eager for it.’” He (ﷺ) said: “So He will say: ‘So from what thing do they seek refuge?’ They will say: ‘They seek refuge from the Fire.’” He (ﷺ) said: “So He will say: ‘And have they seen it?’ So they will say: ‘No.’” He (ﷺ) said: “So He will say: ‘So how would it be had they seen it?’ So they will say: ‘Had they seen it, they would be more ardent in fear of it, and more ardent in seeking refuge from it.’” He (ﷺ) said: “So He will say: ‘So I do call You to witness that I have forgiven them.’ So they will say: ‘Indeed among them is so-and-so, a sinner, he did not intend them, he only came to them for some need.’ So He will say: ‘They are the people, that none who sits with them shall be miserable.’”

حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَوْ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ إِنَّ لِلَّهِ مَلَائِكَةً سَيَّاحِينَ فِي الْأَرْضِ فُضُلًا عَنْ كُتَّابِ النَّاسِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَإِذَا وَجَدُوا أَقْوَامًا يَذْكُرُونَ اللَّهَ تَنَادَوْا:‏‏‏‏ هَلُمُّوا إِلَى بُغْيَتِكُمْ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَيَجِيئُونَ فَيَحُفُّونَ بِهِمْ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ الدُّنْيَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَيَقُولُ اللَّهُ:‏‏‏‏ عَلَى أَيِّ شَيْءٍ تَرَكْتُمْ عِبَادِي يَصْنَعُونَ ؟ فَيَقُولُونَ:‏‏‏‏ تَرَكْنَاهُمْ يَحْمَدُونَكَ،‏‏‏‏ وَيُمَجِّدُونَكَ،‏‏‏‏ وَيَذْكُرُونَكَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فَيَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ فَهَلْ رَأَوْنِي ؟ فَيَقُولُونَ:‏‏‏‏ لَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فَيَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ فَكَيْفَ لَوْ رَأَوْنِي ؟ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فَيَقُولُونَ:‏‏‏‏ لَوْ رَأَوْكَ لَكَانُوا أَشَدَّ تَحْمِيدًا،‏‏‏‏ وَأَشَدَّ تَمْجِيدًا،‏‏‏‏ وَأَشَدَّ لَكَ ذِكْرًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فَيَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ وَأَيُّ شَيْءٍ يَطْلُبُونَ ؟ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فَيَقُولُونَ:‏‏‏‏ يَطْلُبُونَ الْجَنَّةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فَيَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ وَهَلْ رَأَوْهَا ؟ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فَيَقُولُونَ:‏‏‏‏ لَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فَيَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ فَكَيْفَ لَوْ رَأَوْهَا ؟ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فَيَقُولُونَ:‏‏‏‏ لَوْ رَأَوْهَا كَانُوا لَهَا أَشَدَّ طَلَبًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَشَدَّ عَلَيْهَا حِرْصًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فَيَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ فَمِنْ أَيِّ شَيْءٍ يَتَعَوَّذُونَ ؟ قَالُوا:‏‏‏‏ يَتَعَوَّذُونَ مِنَ النَّارِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فَيَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ هَلْ رَأَوْهَا ؟ فَيَقُولُونَ:‏‏‏‏ لَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَيَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ فَكَيْفَ لَوْ رَأَوْهَا ؟ فَيَقُولُونَ:‏‏‏‏ لَوْ رَأَوْهَا كَانُوا مِنْهَا أَشَدَّ هَرَبًا،‏‏‏‏ وَأَشَدَّ مِنْهَا خَوْفًا،‏‏‏‏ وَأَشَدَّ مِنْهَا تَعَوُّذًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فَيَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ فَإِنِّي أُشْهِدُكُمْ أَنِّي قَدْ غَفَرْتُ لَهُمْ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَيَقُولُونَ:‏‏‏‏ إِنَّ فِيهِمْ فُلَانًا الْخَطَّاءَ لَمْ يُرِدْهُمْ إِنَّمَا جَاءَهُمْ لِحَاجَةٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَيَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ هُمُ الْقَوْمُ لَا يَشْقَى لَهُمْ جَلِيسٌ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَدْ رُوِيَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ مِنْ غَيْرِ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ.

ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ یا ابو سعید خدری رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”لوگوں کے نامہ اعمال لکھنے والے فرشتوں کے علاوہ بھی کچھ فرشتے ہیں جو زمین میں گھومتے پھرتے رہتے ہیں، جب وہ کسی قوم کو اللہ کا ذکر کرتے ہوئے پاتے ہیں تو ایک دوسرے کو پکارتے ہیں: آؤ آؤ یہاں ہے تمہارے مطلب و مقصد کی بات، تو وہ لوگ آ جاتے ہیں، اور انہیں قریبی آسمان تک گھیر لیتے ہیں، اللہ ان سے پوچھتا ہے: ”میرے بندوں کو کیا کام کرتے ہوئے چھوڑ آئے ہو؟“ وہ کہتے ہیں: ہم انہیں تیری تعریف کرتے ہوئے تیری بزرگی بیان کرتے ہوئے اور تیرا ذکر کرتے ہوئے چھوڑ آئے ہیں، وہ کہتا ہے: ”کیا انہوں نے مجھے دیکھا ہے ( یا بن دیکھے ہوئے ہی میری عبادت و ذکر کئے جا رہے ہیں ) “ وہ جواب دیتے ہیں: نہیں، اللہ کہتا ہے: ”اگر وہ لوگ مجھے دیکھ لیں تو کیا صورت و کیفیت ہو گی؟“ وہ جواب دیتے ہیں، وہ لوگ اگر تجھے دیکھ لیں تو وہ لوگ اور بھی تیری تعریف کرنے لگیں، تیری بزرگی بیان کریں گے اور تیرا ذکر بڑھا دیں گے، وہ پوچھتا ہے: ”وہ لوگ کیا چاہتے اور مانگتے ہیں؟“ فرشتے کہتے ہیں: وہ لوگ جنت مانگتے ہیں، اللہ پوچھتا ہے ”کیا ان لوگوں نے جنت دیکھی ہے؟“ وہ جواب دیتے ہیں: نہیں، وہ پوچھتا ہے: ”اگر یہ دیکھ لیں تو ان کی کیا کیفیت ہو گی؟“ وہ کہتے ہیں: ان کی طلب اور ان کی حرص اور بھی زیادہ بڑھ جائے گی، وہ پھر پوچھتا ہے: ”وہ لوگ کس چیز سے پناہ مانگتے ہیں“، وہ کہتے ہیں: جہنم سے، وہ پوچھتا ہے: ”کیا ان لوگوں نے جہنم دیکھ رکھی ہے؟“ وہ کہتے ہیں: نہیں، وہ پوچھتا ہے: ”اگر یہ لوگ جہنم کو دیکھ لیں تو ان کی کیا کیفیت ہو گی؟“ وہ کہتے ہیں: اگر یہ جہنم دیکھ لیں تو اس سے بہت زیادہ دور بھاگیں گے، زیادہ خوف کھائیں گے اور بہت زیادہ اس سے پناہ مانگیں گے، پھر اللہ کہے گا ”میں تمہیں گواہ بنا کر کہتا ہوں کہ میں نے ان سب کی مغفرت کر دی ہے“، وہ کہتے ہیں: ان میں فلاں خطاکار شخص بھی ہے، ان کے پاس مجلس میں بیٹھنے نہیں بلکہ کسی ضرورت سے آیا تھا، ( اور بیٹھ گیا تھا ) اللہ فرماتا ہے، ”یہ ایسے ( معزز و مکرم ) لوگ ہیں کہ ان کا ہم نشیں بھی محروم نہیں رہ سکتا ( ہم نے اسے بھی بخش دیا ) “۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- یہ حدیث اس سند کے علاوہ دوسری سند سے بھی ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ سے آئی ہے۔

Abu Hurairah said: “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said to me: ‘Be frequent in saying: “There is no might or power except by Allah, (Lā ḥawla wa lā quwwata illā billāh).” For verily, it is a treasure from the treasures of Paradise.’”

Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Every Prophet has a (special) supplication which is answered. Verily, I have reserved mine as intercession for my nation, and it shall reach, if Allah wills, those of them who die, not associating anything with Allah.”

Abu Hurairah [may Allah be pleased with him] narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Allah, the Most High said: ‘I am as My slave thinks of Me, and I am with him when he remembers Me. If he remembers Me to himself, I remember him to Myself, and if he remembers Me in a gathering, I remember him in a gathering better than that. And if he seeks to draw nearer to Me by a hand span, I draw nearer to him by a forearm’s length, and if he comes to Me by a forearm’s length, I draw nearer to him by an arm’s length. And if he comes to Me walking, I come to him quickly.’”

Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Seek refuge with Allah from the punishment of Hell, and seek refuge in Allah from the punishment of the grave. Seek refuge in Allah from the trial of Al-Masihid-Dajjal, and seek refuge in Allah from the trials of life and death.”

Narrated Wathilah bin Al-Asqa': that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Indeed Allah has chosen Isma'il from the children of Ibrahim, and He chose Banu Kinanah from the children of Isma'il, and He chose the Quraish from Banu Kinanah, and He chose Banu Hashim from Quraish, and He chose me from Banu Hashim.

Narrated Wathilah bin Al-Asqa': that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Indeed, Allah chose Kinanah from the children of Isma'il, and He chose Quraish from Kinanah, and He chose Hashim from Quraish, and He chose me from Banu Hashim.
