Anas bin Malik narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Allah, Blessed is He and Most High, said: ‘O son of Adam! Verily as long as you called upon Me and hoped in Me, I forgave you, despite whatever may have occurred from you, and I did not mind. O son of Adam! Were your sins to reach the clouds of the sky, then you sought forgiveness from Me, I would forgive you, and I would not mind. So son of Adam! If you came to me with sins nearly as great as the earth, and then you met Me not associating anything with Me, I would come to you with forgiveness nearly as great as it.’”

حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ إِسْحَاق الْجَوْهَرِيُّ الْبَصْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا كَثِيرُ بْنُ فَائِدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، قَال:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُ بَكْرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْمُزَنِيَّ، يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى:‏‏‏‏ يَا ابْنَ آدَمَ إِنَّكَ مَا دَعَوْتَنِي وَرَجَوْتَنِي غَفَرْتُ لَكَ عَلَى مَا كَانَ فِيكَ وَلَا أُبَالِي، ‏‏‏‏‏‏يَا ابْنَ آدَمَ لَوْ بَلَغَتْ ذُنُوبُكَ عَنَانَ السَّمَاءِ ثُمَّ اسْتَغْفَرْتَنِي غَفَرْتُ لَكَ وَلَا أُبَالِي، ‏‏‏‏‏‏يَا ابْنَ آدَمَ إِنَّكَ لَوْ أَتَيْتَنِي بِقُرَابِ الْأَرْضِ خَطَايَا ثُمَّ لَقِيتَنِي لَا تُشْرِكُ بِي شَيْئًا لَأَتَيْتُكَ بِقُرَابِهَا مَغْفِرَةً . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏لَا نَعْرِفُهُ إِلَّا مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ.

انس بن مالک رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا: ”اللہ کہتا ہے: اے آدم کے بیٹے! جب تک تو مجھ سے دعائیں کرتا رہے گا اور مجھ سے اپنی امیدیں اور توقعات وابستہ رکھے گا میں تجھے بخشتا رہوں گا، چاہے تیرے گناہ کسی بھی درجے پر پہنچے ہوئے ہوں، مجھے کسی بات کی پرواہ و ڈر نہیں ہے، اے آدم کے بیٹے! اگر تیرے گناہ آسمان کو چھونے لگیں پھر تو مجھ سے مغفرت طلب کرنے لگے تو میں تجھے بخش دوں گا اور مجھے کسی بات کی پرواہ نہ ہو گی۔ اے آدم کے بیٹے! اگر تو زمین برابر بھی گناہ کر بیٹھے اور پھر مجھ سے ( مغفرت طلب کرنے کے لیے ) ملے لیکن میرے ساتھ کسی طرح کا شرک نہ کیا ہو تو میں تیرے پاس اس کے برابر مغفرت لے کر آؤں گا ( اور تجھے بخش دوں گا ) “ ۱؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: یہ حدیث حسن غریب ہے اور ہم اس حدیث کو صرف اسی سند سے جانتے ہیں۔

Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Allah created a hundred mercies, and He placed one mercy among his creation, they show mercy to one another by it, and there are ninety-nine mercies with Allah.”

Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “If the believer knew what is with Allah of punishment, none would hope for Paradise, and if the disbeliever knew what is with Allah of mercy, none would despair of (attaining) Paradise.”

Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Verily, Allah when He created the creation, He wrote with His Hand concerning Himself, that: ‘My mercy prevails over My wrath.’”

Anas said that: The Prophet (ﷺ) entered the Masjid and there was a man who had performed Salat and was supplicating. He was saying in his supplication: “O Allah, none has the right to be worshipped but Allah, You are the One Who gives blessings, Originator of the heavens and the earth, Possessor of glory and generosity (Allāhumma lā ilāha illā ant, al-Mannān, Badī`us-samāwāti wal-arḍ, Dhal-Jalāli wal Ikrām).” So the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Do you know what he has supplicated Allah with? He has supplicated to Allah by His Greatest Name, the one which if He Is called upon by it, He responds, and when He is asked by it, He gives.”

Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “May the man before whom I am mentioned - and he does not send Salat upon me - be humiliated. And may a man upon whom Ramadan enters and then passes, before he is forgiven, be humiliated. And may a man whose parents reached old age in his presence, and they were not a cause for his entrance to Paradise, be humiliated.”

`Ali bin Abi Talib narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “The stingy person is the one before whom I am mentioned, and he does not send Salat upon me.”
