Abu Hurairah narrated: (Another chain with a similar narration)

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي مَعْشَرٍ مِثْلَهُ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ حَدِيثُ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَدْ رُوِيَ عَنْهُ مِنْ غَيْرِ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ. وَقَدْ تَكَلَّمَ بَعْضُ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ فِي أَبِي مَعْشَرٍ مِنْ قِبَلِ حِفْظِهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَاسْمُهُ:‏‏‏‏ نَجِيحٌ مَوْلَى بَنِي هَاشِمٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ:‏‏‏‏ لَا أَرْوِي عَنْهُ شَيْئًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَدْ رَوَى عَنْهُ النَّاسُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ:‏‏‏‏ وَحَدِيثُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ الْمَخْرَمِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأَخْنَسِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَقْوَى مِنْ حَدِيثِ أَبِي مَعْشَرٍ وَأَصَحُّ

یحییٰ بن موسیٰ کا بیان ہے کہ ہم سے محمد بن ابی معشر نے بھی اسی کے مثل بیان کیا ہے۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- ابوہریرہ کی حدیث ان سے اور بھی کئی سندوں سے مروی ہے، ۲- بعض اہل علم نے ابومعشر کے حفظ کے تعلق سے کلام کیا ہے۔ ان کا نام نجیح ہے، وہ بنی ہاشم کے مولیٰ ہیں، ۳- محمد بن اسماعیل بخاری کہتے ہیں: میں ان سے کوئی روایت نہیں کرتا حالانکہ لوگوں نے ان سے روایت کی ہے نیز بخاری کہتے ہیں کہ عبداللہ بن جعفر مخرمی کی حدیث جسے انہوں نے بسند «عثمان بن محمد اخنسی عن سعید المقبری عن أبی ہریرہ» روایت کی ہے، ابومعشر کی حدیث سے زیادہ قوی اور زیادہ صحیح ہے ( یہ حدیث آگے آ رہی ہے جو اسی معنی کی ہے ) ۔

(Another chain narrating that) Abu Hurairah narrated that : Allah's Messenger said: What is between the east and the west is Qiblah.

Abdullah bin Amir bin Rabi'ah narrated from his father who said: We were with the Prophet on a journey on a very dark night and we did not know the direction of the Qiblah. So each man among us prayed in his own direction. In the morning when we mentioned that to the Prophet, then the following was revealed: So where ever you turn, there is the Face of Allah.

Ibn Umar narrated: The Prophet prohibited Salat from being performed in seven places: the dung heap, the slaughtering area, the graveyard, the commonly used road, the wash area, in the area that camels rest at, and above the House of Allah (the Ka'bah).
