Narrated Abu Hurairah: that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Whoever alleviates a burden among the burdens of the world for his brother, Allah alleviates a burden among the burdens of the Day of Judgement for him. And whoever covers (the faults) of a Muslim, Allah covers him in the world and in the Hereafter. And whoever makes things easy for one in dire straits, Allah makes things easy for him in the world and the Hereafter. Allah is helping as long as the (His) Slave is helping his brother. And whoever takes a path to gain knowledge, Allah makes a path to Paradise easy for him. And no people sit in a Masjid reciting Allah's Book, studying it among themselves, except that tranquility descends upon them and they are enveloped in the mercy, and surrounded by the angels. And whoever is slow in his deeds, his lineage shall not speed him up.

حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ مَنْ نَفَّسَ عَنْ أَخِيهِ كُرْبَةً مِنْ كُرَبِ الدُّنْيَا نَفَّسَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ كُرْبَةً مِنْ كُرَبِ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمَنْ سَتَرَ مُسْلِمًا سَتَرَهُ اللَّهُ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمَنْ يَسَّرَ عَلَى مُعْسِرٍ يَسَّرَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَاللَّهُ فِي عَوْنِ الْعَبْدِ مَا كَانَ الْعَبْدُ فِي عَوْنِ أَخِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمَنْ سَلَكَ طَرِيقًا يَلْتَمِسُ فِيهِ عِلْمًا سَهَّلَ اللَّهُ لَهُ طَرِيقًا إِلَى الْجَنَّةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمَا قَعَدَ قَوْمٌ فِي مَسْجِدٍ يَتْلُونَ كِتَابَ اللَّهِ وَيَتَدَارَسُونَهُ بَيْنَهُمْ إِلَّا نَزَلَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّكِينَةُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَغَشِيَتْهُمُ الرَّحْمَةُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَحَفَّتْهُمُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمَنْ أَبْطَأَ بِهِ عَمَلُهُ لَمْ يُسْرِعْ بِهِ نَسَبُهُ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَكَذَا رَوَى غَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَرَوَى أَسْبَاطُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حُدِّثْتُ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَذَكَرَ بَعْضَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ.

ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جس نے اپنے بھائی کی کوئی دنیاوی مصیبت دور کی تو اللہ تعالیٰ اس کی قیامت کے دن کوئی نہ کوئی مصیبت دور فرمائے گا۔ اور جس نے کسی مسلمان کی پردہ پوشی کی۔ تو اللہ اس کی دنیا و آخرت میں پردہ پوشی کرے گا، اور جس نے کسی تنگ دست کے ساتھ آسانی کی، تو اللہ تعالیٰ دنیا و آخرت میں اس کے لیے آسانی پیدا فرمائے گا۔ اللہ اپنے بندے کی مدد میں ہوتا ہے جب تک بندہ اپنے بھائی کی مدد کرتا رہتا ہے، اور جو ایسی راہ چلتا ہے جس میں اسے علم کی تلاش ہوتی ہے تو اللہ تعالیٰ اس کے لیے جنت کا راستہ ہموار کر دیتا ہے اور جب قوم ( لوگ ) مسجد میں بیٹھ کر کلام اللہ ( قرآن ) کی تلاوت کرتے ہیں اور اسے پڑھتے پڑھاتے ( سمجھتے سمجھاتے ) ہیں تو ان پر سکینت نازل ہوتی ہے، انہیں رحمت الٰہی ڈھانپ لیتی ہے۔ ملائکہ انہیں اپنے گھیرے میں لیے رہتے ہیں، جس کے عمل نے اسے پیچھے کر دیا تو آخرت میں اس کا نسب اسے آگے نہیں بڑھا سکتا“ ۱؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- ایسے ہی کئی رواۃ نے اسی حدیث کی طرح اعمش سے اعمش نے ابوصالح کے واسطہ سے، اور ابوصالح نے ابوہریرہ کے واسطہ سے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے روایت کی ہے، ۲- اسباط بن محمد نے بھی اعمش سے روایت کی ہے، ( اس روایت میں ہے کہ ) اعمش کہتے ہیں: مجھ سے بیان کیا گیا ہے ۲؎ ابوصالح کے واسطہ سے اور ابوصالح نے ابوہریرہ کے واسطہ سے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے روایت کرتے ہیں پھر اس حدیث کا بعض حصہ ذکر کیا۔

Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Amr : I said: 'O Messenger of Allah! In how much time may I recite the Qur'an?' He said: 'Complete it in one month.' I said: 'I am able to do more than that.' He said: 'Then complete it in twenty (days).' I said: 'I am able to do more than that.' He said: 'Then finish it in fifteen (days).' I said: 'I am able to do more than that.' He said: 'Finish it in ten (days).' I said: 'I am able to do more than that.' He said: 'Finish it in five (days).' I said: 'I am able to do more than that.' He ('Abdullah bin 'Amr) said: But he did not permit me.

Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Amr: that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Recite the Qur'an in forty (days).

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas: A man said 'O Messenger of Allah! Which deed is most virtuous to Allah?' He said: 'Al-Hallul-Murtahil'' He said: 'What is Al-Hallul-Murtahil?' He said: 'The one who recites from the beginning of the Qur'an to the end of it, every time he sets out (on a trip).'

Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Amr: that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: He who recites the Qur'an in less than three (days), he does not understand it.

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas: that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Beware of narrating from me except what I taught you, for whoever lies about me on purpose, then let him take his seat in the Fire. And whoever says (something) about the Qur'an according to his (own) opinion, then let him take his seat in the Fire.
