حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْخَلَّالُ الْحُلْوَانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ حُبَابٍ، عَنْ كَامِلٍ أَبِي الْعَلَاءِ نَحْوَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَهَكَذَا رُوِيَ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَبِهِ يَقُولُ الشَّافِعِيُّ وَأَحْمَدُ،‏‏‏‏ وَإِسْحَاق يرون هذا جائزا في المكتوبة والتطوع، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وروى بعضهم هذا الحديث عَنْ كَامِلٍ أَبِي الْعَلَاءِ مُرْسَلًا.
اس سند سے بھی   کامل ابو العلاء سے اسی طرح مروی ہے۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث غریب ہے، ۲- اسی طرح علی رضی الله عنہ سے بھی مروی ہے۔ اور بعض لوگوں نے کامل ابو العلاء سے یہ حدیث مرسلاً روایت کی ہے، ۳- شافعی، احمد، اسحاق بن راہویہ بھی یہی کہتے ہیں، ان کی رائے ہے کہ یہ فرض اور نفل دونوں میں جائز ہے۔

Abdullah bin Mas'ud narrated: Allah's Messenger taught us, that when we sit for every two Rak'ah we should say: (At-Tahyyatulillah, was-salawatu wattayybaat. As-salamu alaika ayyuhannabiyyu wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu, as-salamu alaina wa ala ibadillahis-salihin. Ashhadu an la ilaha illallah wa ashadu anna Muhammadan abduhu wa Rasuluh.) 'All greetings, prayers, and pure words are Allah. Peace be upon you O Prophet, and Allah's mercy and His blessings. Peace be upon us and all of the righteous worshippers of Allah. I testify that nne has the right to be worshipped but Allah, and I testify that Muhammad is Allah's servant and Messenger.'

Ibn Abbas narrated: Allah's Messenger would teach us the Tashah-hud just as he would teach us the Qur'an. He would say: (At-Tahiyyatu, al mubarakatu, as-salawatu at-tayyibatulillah. Salamun alaika ayyuhan-naibiyyu wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu, salamun alaina wa ala ibadalillahis-salihin. Ashhadu an la ilaha illallah, wa ashhadu anna Muhammadan abduhu wa Raduluh.) 'All greetings, goodness, prayers, and pure words are for Allah. Peace be upon you O Prophet, and Allah's mercy and His blessings, Peace be upon us and all of the righteous worshippers of Allah. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and I testify that Muhammad is Allah's worshipper and Messenger.'
