Abu Musa narrated that the Messenger of Allah(s.a.w) said: Indeed after you there will be days in which knowledge shall be raised up and Al-Harj shall abound. They said: O Messenger of Allah(s.a.w)! What is Al-Harj? He said: Killing.
حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ شَقِيقِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ إِنَّ مِنْ وَرَائِكُمْ أَيَّامًا يُرْفَعُ فِيهَا الْعِلْمُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَيَكْثُرُ فِيهَا الْهَرْجُ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالُوا:‏‏‏‏ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏مَا الْهَرْجُ ؟ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ الْقَتْلُ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَخَالِدِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمَعْقِلِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَهَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ.
ابوموسیٰ اشعری رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”تمہارے بعد ایسے دن آنے والے ہیں جس میں علم اٹھا لیا جائے گا، اور ہرج زیادہ ہو جائے گا“، صحابہ نے عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! ہرج کیا چیز ہے؟ آپ نے فرمایا: ”قتل و خوں ریزی“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث صحیح ہے، ۲- اس باب میں ابوہریرہ، خالد بن ولید اور معقل بن یسار رضی الله عنہم سے بھی احادیث آئی ہیں۔
