Udaisah bint Uhban bin Safi Al-Ghifari said: Ali bin Abi Talib came to my father to call him to go out(to fight) with him. My father said to him: 'Indeed my beloved, the son of your paternal uncle, made a covenant with me, that when the people differ, to take a sword of wood. So I have resigned it, if you wish I will take it out with you.' She said: 'So he left him. '

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيل بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ عُدَيْسَةَ بِنْتِ أُهْبَانَ بْنِ صَيْفِيٍّ الْغِفَارِيِّ، قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ جَاءَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ إِلَى أَبِي، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَدَعَاهُ إِلَى الْخُرُوجِ مَعَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ لَهُ أَبِي:‏‏‏‏ إِنَّ خَلِيلِي وَابْنَ عَمِّكَ عَهِدَ إِلَيَّ إِذَا اخْتَلَفَ النَّاسُ أَنْ أَتَّخِذَ سَيْفًا مِنْ خَشَبٍ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَدِ اتَّخَذْتُهُ فَإِنْ شِئْتَ خَرَجْتُ بِهِ مَعَكَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ فَتَرَكَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مَسْلَمَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَهَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏لَا نَعْرِفُهُ إِلَّا مِنْ حَدِيثِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ.

عدیسہ بنت اہبان غفاری کہتی ہیں کہ میرے والد کے پاس علی رضی الله عنہ آئے اور ان کو اپنے ساتھ لڑائی کے لیے نکلنے کو کہا، ان سے میرے والد نے کہا: میرے دوست اور آپ کے چچا زاد بھائی ( رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) نے مجھے وصیت کی کہ ”جب لوگوں میں اختلاف ہو جائے تو میں لکڑی کی تلوار بنا لوں“، لہٰذا میں نے بنا لی ہے، اگر آپ چاہیں تو اسے لے کر آپ کے ساتھ نکلوں، عدیسہ کہتی ہیں: چنانچہ علی رضی الله عنہ نے میرے والد کو چھوڑ دیا ۱؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن غریب ہے، ہم اسے صرف عبداللہ بن عبیداللہ کی روایت سے جانتے ہیں، ۲- اس باب میں محمد بن مسلمہ رضی الله عنہ سے بھی روایت ہے۔

Abu Musa narrated that the Prophet(s.a.w) said, about the Fitnah: Break your bows during it, cut their strings and stick to the depths of your homes, and be like Adam's son.

Anas bin Malik said: I shall narrate a Hadith to you that I heard from the Messenger of Allah(s.a.w), which none after me shall narrate that he heard it from the Messenger of Allah(s.a.w). [He said:] The Messenger of Allah(s.a.w) said: 'Indeed, among the signs of the Hour are that knowledge shall be raised up, ignorance shall be rampant, Zina shall abound, Khamr shall be drunk, women shall increase and men shall decrease such that fifty women will be supported by one man.

Az-Zubair bin 'Adi said: We entered upon Anas bin Malik. We complained to him about what we were experiencing from Al-Hajjaj. So he said: 'There will not be a year, except that the one that is after it will be more evil than it, until you meet your Lord. I heard this from your Prophet(s.a.w). '

Anas narrated that the Messenger of Allah(s.a.w) said: The Hour will not be established until 'Allah, Allah is not said on the earth.

Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah(s.a.w) said: The earth will throw out pieces of its liver(in sides): liver; gold and silver will come out like columns. He said: A thief will come and say: 'For this my hands were amputated?' A murderer will come and say: 'For this I killed?' One who severed ties of kinship will come and say: 'For this I severed the ties of kinship?' Then they will leave it without taking anything from it. '

Hudhaifah bin Al-Yaman narrated that the Messenger of Allah(s.a.w) said: The Hour will not be established until the happiest of people in the world is Luka' bin Luka'.
