Translation

Arabic, english and urdu

Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah said: Charity does not diminish wealth, Allah does not increase a man in anything for his pardoning (others) but in honor, and none humbles himself for Allah but Allah raises him.

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ مَا نَقَصَتْ صَدَقَةٌ مِنْ مَالٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمَا زَادَ اللهُ رَجُلًا بِعَفْوٍ إِلَّا عِزًّا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمَا تَوَاضَعَ أَحَدٌ لِلَّهِ إِلَّا رَفَعَهُ اللَّهُ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَبِي كَبْشَةَ الْأَنَّمَارِيِّ وَاسْمُهُ عُمَرُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَهَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ.

ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”صدقہ مال کو کم نہیں کرتا، اور عفو و درگزر کرنے سے آدمی کی عزت بڑھتی ہے، اور جو شخص اللہ کے لیے تواضع و انکساری اختیار کرتا ہے اللہ تعالیٰ اس کا رتبہ بلند فرما دیتا ہے“ ۱؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- اس باب میں عبدالرحمٰن بن عوف، ابن عباس اور ابوکبشہ انماری رضی الله عنہم سے بھی احادیث آئی ہیں، ۲- ابوکبشہ انماری کا نام عمر بن سعد ہے۔

Ibn 'Umar narrated that Prophet said: Oppression shall be darkness on the Day of Judgment.

Abu Hurairah narrated: The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) never criticized any food. if he liked it, he would eat it, and if not, he would leave it.

Nafi' narrated that Ibn ‘Umar said: “The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) ascended the Minbar and called out with a raised voice: ’O you who accepted Islam with his tongue, while faith has not reached his heart! Do not harm the Muslims, nor revile them, nor spy on them to expose their secrets. For indeed whoever tries to expose his Muslims brother’s secrets, Allah exposes his secrets wide open, even if he were in the depth of his house.’” He (Nafl’) said: ‘ One day Ibn ‘Umar looked at the House- or – the Ka’bah and said: ‘What is it that is more honored than you, and whose honor is more sacred than yours! And the believer’s honor is more sacred to Allah than yours.’”

Abu Sa'eed narrated that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: There is no forbearance except for the one who stumbled, and there is no wisdom except for the one who has experience. (Dai'f)

Jabir narrated that the Prophet (s.a.w) said: Whoever is given a gift, then if he finds something let him reciprocate. If he has nothing, then let him mention some praise. For whoever has mentioned some praise, then he has expressed his gratitude. And whoever refrains (from doing so) then he has committed Kufr. And whoever pretends to be satisfied by that which he was not given, he is like the one who wears a garment of falsehood.

Usamah bin Zaid narrated that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: Whoever some good was done to him, and he says: 'May Allah reward you in goodness' then he has done the most that he can of praise.
