Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah said: Whoever visits the sick, or visits his brother in Allah (faith), a caller calls out: 'May you have goodness and livelihood be good, and may you dwell in an adobe in Paradise.'

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، وَالْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ أَبِي كَبْشَةَ الْبَصْرِيُّ، قَالَا:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ السَّدُوسِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سِنَانٍ الْقَسْمَلِيُّ هُوَ الشَّامِيُّ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي سَوْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ مَنْ عَادَ مَرِيضًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَوْ زَارَ أَخًا لَهُ فِي اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏نَادَاهُ مُنَادٍ أَنْ طِبْتَ وَطَابَ مَمْشَاكَ وَتَبَوَّأْتَ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ مَنْزِلًا ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَبُو سِنَانٍ اسْمُهُ عِيسَى بْنُ سِنَانٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَدْ رَوَى حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ شَيْئًا مِنْ هَذَا.

ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جس نے کسی مریض کی عیادت کی یا کسی دینی بھائی سے ملاقات کی تو اس کو ایک آواز دینے والا آواز دیتا ہے: تمہاری دنیاوی و اخروی زندگی مبارک ہو، تمہارا چلنا مبارک ہو، تم نے جنت میں ایک گھر حاصل کر لیا“ ۱؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: یہ حدیث حسن غریب ہے، ۲- حماد بن سلمہ نے «عن ثابت عن أبي رافع عن أبي هريرة عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم» کی سند سے اس حدیث کا کچھ حصہ روایت کیا ہے۔
