Translation

Arabic, english and urdu

Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah said: Al-Haya is from faith, and faith is in Paradise. Obscenity is from rudeness, and rudeness is in the Fire.

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، وَعَبْدُ الرَّحِيمِ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ الْحَيَاءُ مِنَ الْإِيمَانِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالْإِيمَانُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالْبَذَاءُ مِنَ الْجَفَاءِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالْجَفَاءُ فِي النَّارِ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَبِي بَكْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَبِي أُمَامَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ.

ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”حیاء ایمان کا ایک جزء ہے اور ایمان والے جنت میں جائیں گے اور بےحیائی کا تعلق ظلم سے ہے اور ظالم جہنم میں جائیں گے“ ۱؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- اس باب میں ابن عمر، ابوبکرہ، ابوامامہ اور عمران بن حصین رضی الله عنہم سے بھی احادیث آئی ہیں۔
