Abdullah bin Sa'd narrated: I asked the Prophet about eating with a menstruating woman. He said: Eat with her.

حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّاسٌ الْعَنْبَرِيُّ،‏‏‏‏ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى،‏‏‏‏ قَالَا:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، عَنْ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ حَرَامِ بْنِ مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ سَأَلْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ مُوَاكَلَةِ الْحَائِضِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَاكِلْهَا . قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ عَائِشَةَ،‏‏‏‏ وَأَنَسٍ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ حَدِيثُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَهُوَ قَوْلُ عَامَّةِ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ لَمْ يَرَوْا بِمُوَاكَلَةِ الْحَائِضِ بَأْسًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَاخْتَلَفُوا فِي فَضْلِ وَضُوئِهَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَرَخَّصَ فِي ذَلِكَ بَعْضُهُمْ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَكَرِهَ بَعْضُهُمْ فَضْلَ طَهُورِهَا.

عبداللہ بن سعد رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے نبی اکرم صلی الله علیہ وسلم سے حائضہ کے ساتھ کھانے کے بارے میں پوچھا تو آپ نے فرمایا: ”اس کے ساتھ کھاؤ“ ۱؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- عبداللہ بن سعد رضی الله عنہما کی حدیث حسن غریب ہے، ۲- اس باب میں عائشہ اور انس رضی الله عنہما سے بھی احادیث آئی ہیں، ۳- اکثر اہل علم کا یہی قول ہے: یہ لوگ حائضہ کے ساتھ کھانے میں کوئی حرج نہیں جانتے۔ البتہ اس کے وضو کے بچے ہوئے پانی کے سلسلہ میں ان میں اختلاف ہے۔ بعض لوگوں نے اس کی اجازت دی ہے اور بعض نے اس کی طہارت سے بچے ہوئے پانی کو مکروہ کہا ہے۔

Aishah narrated: Allah's Messenger said to me: 'Bring me the Khumrah from the Masjid.' She said: I said: 'I am menstruating.' He said: 'Indeed your menstruation is not in your hand.'

Abu Hurairah narrated that : the Prophet said: Whoever engages in sexual intercourse with a menstruating woman, or a woman in her anus, consults a soothsayer, then he has disbelieved in what was revealed to Muhammad.

Ibn Abbas narrated that : the Prophet said about a man who had sexual intercourse with his wife while she is menstruating: He should give half a Dinar in charity.

Ibn Abbas narrated that : the Prophet said: When the blood is red then (give) a Dinar. And when the blood is yellow then half Dinar.

Asma' bint Abu Bakr narrated that : a woman asked the Prophet about a garment that was touched by some menstrual blood. So Allah's Messenger said: Remove it, and scrub it, then rinse it and pray in it

Umm Salamah narrated: The time of waiting for Nifas during the time of AIlah's Messenger was forty days. We used to cover our faces with reddish-brown Wars.
