Abdullah bin Amr narrated that: The Messenger of Allah said: No Muslim dies on the day of Friday, nor the night of Friday, except that Allah protects him from the trials of the grave.

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، وَأَبُو عَامِرٍ الْعَقَدِيُّ، قَالَا:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْن أَبِي هِلَالٍ، عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ سَيْفٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمٍ يَمُوتُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ أَوْ لَيْلَةَ الْجُمُعَةِ إِلَّا وَقَاهُ اللَّهُ فِتْنَةَ الْقَبْرِ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَهَذَا حَدِيثٌ لَيْسَ إِسْنَادُهُ بِمُتَّصِلٍ رَبِيعَةُ بْنُ سَيْفٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏إِنَّمَا يَرْوِي عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْحُبُلِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، وَلَا نَعْرِفُ لِرَبِيعَةَ بْنِ سَيْفٍ سَمَاعًا مِنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو.

عبداللہ بن عمرو رضی الله عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جو مسلمان جمعہ کے دن یا جمعہ کی رات کو مرتا ہے، اللہ اسے قبر کے فتنے سے محفوظ رکھتا ہے“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث غریب ہے، ۲- اس حدیث کی سند متصل نہیں ہے، ربیعہ بن سیف ابوعبدالرحمٰن حبلی سے روایت کرتے ہیں اور وہ عبداللہ بن عمرو سے۔ اور ہم نہیں جانتے کہ ربیعہ بن سیف کی عبداللہ بن عمرو رضی الله عنہما سے سماع ہے یا نہیں۔

Ali bin Abi Talib narrated that: The Messenger of Allah said to him: O Ali! Three are not to be delayed: Salat when it is due, the funeral when it is presented, and (marriage) for the single woman when someone compatible is found.
