It was narrated that Ibn 'Umar said: The Messenger of Allah said: 'Wait for it to cool down before you pray the Zuhr.'
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عُمَرَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ الثَّقَفِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ نَافِعٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ أَبْرِدُوا بِالظُّهْرِ .
عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ظہر ٹھنڈی کر کے پڑھو ۔

It was narrated from Anas bin Malik that: The Messenger of Allah used to pray 'Asr when the sun was still hot and high, and if a person were to go to the suburbs (of Al-Madinah) he would be able to reach it while the sun was still hot and high.
