Translation

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that : A man asked him: How much water should I pour over my head when I m sexually impure? He said: the messenger of Allah used to pour three handfuls of water over his head. The man said: My hair is long. He said: The Messenger of Allah had more hair than you and he was cleaner.

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بِنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَالِدٍ الْأَحْمَرُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏سَأَلَهُ رَجُلٌ كَمْ أُفِيضُ عَلَى رَأْسِي وَأَنَا جُنُبٌ؟ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَحْثُو عَلَى رَأْسِهِ ثَلَاثَ حَثَيَاتٍ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ الرَّجُلُ:‏‏‏‏ إِنَّ شَعْرِي طَوِيلٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَكْثَرَ شَعْرًا مِنْكَ وَأَطْيَبَ .

ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ کسی شخص نے ان سے پوچھا: جب میں غسل جنابت کروں تو اپنے سر پر کتنا پانی ڈالوں؟ کہا: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اپنے سر پر تین پانی چلو ڈالتے تھے، اس پر اس شخص نے کہا: میرے بال لمبے ہیں، تو انہوں نے کہا کہ رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم تم سے زیادہ بال والے، اور زیادہ پاک و صاف رہنے والے تھے ۱؎۔

It was narrated that 'Aishah said: The Messenger of Allah would not perform ablution after the bath to cleanse himself from sexual impurity.

It was narrated that 'Aishah said: The Messenger of Allah used to have a bath to cleanse himself from sexual impurity, then he would warm himself with me before I had the bath.
