It was narrated that Abu Salamah said: Aishah saw 'Abdur-Rahman performing abluti0on, and she said: Perform ablution properly, for I heard the Messenger of Allah say: 'Woe to the Achilles' tendon because of Hell-fire.'

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ رَجَاءٍ الْمَكِّيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ . ح وحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَحَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ وَأَبُو خَالِدٍ الْأَحْمَرُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَجْلَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ رَأَتْ عَائِشَةُ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ وَهُوَ يَتَوَضَّأُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ أَسْبِغْ الْوُضُوءَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ وَيْلٌ لِلْعَرَاقِيبِ مِنَ النَّارِ .

ابوسلمہ کہتے ہیں کہ ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے ( اپنے بھائی ) عبدالرحمٰن کو وضو کرتے ہوئے دیکھا تو کہا: وضو مکمل کیا کرو، اس لیے کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے سنا ہے: ایٹریوں کو دھونے میں کوتاہی کرنے والوں کے لیے آگ کی تباہی ہے ۔

It was narrated from Khalid bin Walid, Yazid bin Abu Sufyan, Shurahbil bin Hasanah and 'Amr bin 'As that: They all heard the Messenger of Allah say: 'Complete the ablution. Woe to the heels because of Hell-fire.

It was narrated that Abu Haiyah said: I saw 'Ali performing ablution and he washed his feet up to the ankles, then he said: 'I wanted to show you how your Prophet purified himself.'

It was narrated that Rubai' said: Ibn 'Abbas came to me and asked me about this Hadith meaning the Hadith, that she had narrated, saying that the Messenger of Allah performed ablution and washed his feet. Ibn 'Abbas said: 'The people are insisting on washing their feet, but I do not find anything in the Qur'an except (the injunction to) wipe them.'
