It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that: The Messenger of Allah rinsed his mouth and sniffed water up into his nostrils from one scoop of water

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْجَرَّاحِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ خَلَّادٍ الْبَاهِلِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْعَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَضْمَضَ وَاسْتَنْشَقَ مِنْ غُرْفَةٍ وَاحِدَةٍ .

عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ایک ہی چلو سے کلی کی، اور ناک میں پانی چڑھایا۔

It was narrated from 'Ali that: The Messenger of Allah performed ablution and he rinsed his mouth three times, and sniffed water up into his nose three times from one handful.

It was narrated that 'Abdullah bin Zaid Al-Ansari said: The Messenger of Allah came to us and asked us for water for ablution. I brought water to him and he rinsed his mouth and sniffed water up into his nostrils from one handful.

It was narrated that Salamah bin Qais said to me: The Messenger of Allah said to me: 'When you perform ablution, clean your nose, and when you use pebbles to clean yourself after defecating, use an odd number.'

It was narrated from 'Asim bin Laqit bin Sabrah that his father said: I said: 'O Messenger of Allah! Tell me about ablution.' He said: 'Perform ablution properly and sniff water up into your nostrils, thoroughly, unless you are fasting.'
