Translation

It was narrated from Ibn ‘Umar that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Woe to you! Do not turn back into disbelievers after I am gone, striking one another’s necks.”

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ،‏‏‏‏ أَخْبَرَنِي عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أَبِيهِ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ،‏‏‏‏ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَيْحَكُمْ أَوْ وَيْلَكُمْ،‏‏‏‏ لَا تَرْجِعُوا بَعْدِي كُفَّارًا يَضْرِبُ بَعْضُكُمْ رِقَابَ بَعْضٍ .

عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: تم پر افسوس ہے! یا ( تمہارے لیے خرابی ہو! ) تم لوگ میرے بعد کافر نہ ہو جانا کہ ان کی طرح تم میں سے بعض بعض کی گردن مارنے لگے ۔

It was narrated from Sunabih Al-Ahmasi that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “I shall reach the Cistern (Haud) before you, and I will boast of your great numbers before the nations, so do not fight one another after I am gone.’”

It was narrated from Abu Bakr Siddiq that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Whoever offers the morning prayer, he is under the protection of Allah, so do not betray Allah by betraying those who are under His protection. Whoever kills him, Allah will seek him out until He throws him on his face into Hell.”

‘Abbad bin Kathir Ash-Shami narrated from a woman among them, called Fasilah, that she heard her father say: “I asked the Prophet (ﷺ): ‘O Messenger of Allah, is it tribalism if a man loves his people?’ He said: ‘No, rather tribalism is when a man helps his people to do wrong.’”
