Translation

It was narrated that Abu Sa’eed said: “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, during the Farewell Pilgrimage: ‘Is not the most sacred of your days this day, is not the most sacred of your months this month, is not the most sacred of your lands this land? Your blood and your wealth are as sacred to you as this day of yours in this month of yours. Have I not conveyed (the message)?’ They said: ‘Yes.” He said: ‘O Allah, bear witness.’”

حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ:‏‏‏‏ أَلَا إِنَّ أَحْرَمَ الْأَيَّامِ يَوْمُكُمْ هَذَا،‏‏‏‏ أَلَا وَإِنَّ أَحْرَمَ الشُّهُورِ شَهْرُكُمْ هَذَا،‏‏‏‏ أَلَا وَإِنَّ أَحْرَمَ الْبَلَدِ بَلَدُكُمْ هَذَا،‏‏‏‏ أَلَا وَإِنَّ دِمَاءَكُمْ وَأَمْوَالَكُمْ عَلَيْكُمْ حَرَامٌ،‏‏‏‏ كَحُرْمَةِ يَوْمِكُمْ هَذَا فِي شَهْرِكُمْ هَذَا،‏‏‏‏ فِي بَلَدِكُمْ هَذَا،‏‏‏‏ أَلَا هَلْ بَلَّغْتُ ،‏‏‏‏ قَالُوا:‏‏‏‏ نَعَمْ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ اللَّهُمَّ اشْهَدْ .

ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے حجۃالوداع کے موقع پر فرمایا: آگاہ رہو! تمام دنوں میں سب سے زیادہ حرمت والا تمہارا یہ دن ہے، آگاہ رہو! تمام مہینوں میں سب سے زیادہ حرمت والا تمہارا یہ مہینہ ہے، آگاہ رہو! شہروں میں سب سے زیادہ حرمت والا تمہارا یہ شہر ہے، آگاہ رہو! تمہاری جان، تمہارے مال ایک دوسرے پر اسی طرح حرام ہیں جیسے تمہارا یہ دن تمہارے اس مہینے میں، تمہارے اس شہر میں، آگاہ رہو! کیا میں نے تمہیں اللہ کا پیغام نہیں پہنچا دیا ؟، لوگوں نے عرض کیا: ہاں، آپ نے پہنچا دیا، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اے اللہ تو گواہ رہ ۔

It was narrated that ‘Abdullah bin ‘Amr said: “I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) circumambulating the Ka’bah and saying: ‘How good you are and how good your fragrance; how great you are and how great your sanctity. By the One in Whose Hand is the soul of Muhammad, the sanctity of the believer is greater before Allah than your sanctity, his blood and his wealth, and to think anything but good of him.’”

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “The whole of the Muslim is sacred to his fellow Muslim, his blood, his wealth and his honor.”

Fadalah bin ‘Ubaid narrated that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “The believer is the one from whom their (people’s) wealth and lives are safe, and the Muhajir is the one who forsakes mistakes and sins.”

It was narrated from Jabir bin ‘Abdullah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Whoever plunders openly is not one of us.”

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “The adulterer, at the time he is committing adultery, is not a believer; (the wine drinker) at the time he is drinking, is not a believer; the thief, at the time he is stealing, is not a believer; the plunderer, at the time he is plundering with the people looking on, is not a believer.”
