It was narrated that Abu Sa'eed bin Mu'alla said: The Messenger of Allah(ﷺ) said to me: 'Shall I not teach you the greatest Surah in the QUran before I leave the masjid?' Then the Propeht(ﷺ) went to leave, so I reminded him, and he said: Al-hamdulillahi Rabbil-Alameen (All the praise is to Allah, the Lord of all that exists). It is the Seven Oft-Recited Verses, and it is the Grand Quran that has been given to me.'

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا غُنْدَرٌ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ خُبَيْبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُعَلَّى،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ أَلَا أُعَلِّمُكَ أَعْظَمَ سُورَةٍ فِي الْقُرْآنِ قَبْلَ أَنْ أَخْرُجَ مِنَ الْمَسْجِدِ؟ ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فَذَهَبَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِيَخْرُجَ،‏‏‏‏ فَأَذْكَرْتُهُ،‏‏‏‏ فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ وَهِيَ السَّبْعُ الْمَثَانِي،‏‏‏‏ وَالْقُرْآنُ الْعَظِيمُ الَّذِي أُوتِيتُهُ .

ابوسعید بن معلّیٰ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مجھ سے فرمایا: کیا میں مسجد سے نکلنے سے پہلے تمہیں وہ سورت نہ سکھاؤں جو قرآن مجید میں سب سے عظیم سورت ہے، پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم جب مسجد سے باہر نکلنے لگے تو میں نے آپ کو یاد دلایا، تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: وہ سورت«الحمد لله رب العالمين» ہے جو سبع مثانی ہے، اور قرآن عظیم ہے، جو مجھے عطا کیا گیا ہے ۔

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: There is a surah in the Qur'an, with thirty verses, which will intercede for its companion (the one who recites it) until he is forgiven: Tabarakal-ladhi bi yadihil mulk (Blessed is He in Whose Hand is the Dominion).

It was narrated that Abu Masud Al Ansari said: The Messenger of Allah(ﷺ) said: Allahu ahad, Al-Wahidus-Samad [Allah (the) One, the One the Self-Sufficient Master] is equivalent to one third of the Quran.

It was narrated from Abu Darda that the Prophet(ﷺ) said: Shall I not tell you of the best of your deeds, the most pleasing to your Sovereign, those that raise you most in status, that are better than your gold and silver, or meeting you enemy (in battle) and you strike their necks and they strike your necks? They said: WHat is that, O Messenger of Allah? He said: Remembering Allah(Dhikr).

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah and Abu Sa'eed bore witness that the Prophet(ﷺ) said: No people sit in a gathering remembering Allah, But the angels surround them, mercy covers them, tranquility descends upon them and Allah remembers them before those who are with Him.
