It was narrated that Abu Sa'eed bin Mu'alla said: The Messenger of Allah(ﷺ) said to me: 'Shall I not teach you the greatest Surah in the QUran before I leave the masjid?' Then the Propeht(ﷺ) went to leave, so I reminded him, and he said: Al-hamdulillahi Rabbil-Alameen (All the praise is to Allah, the Lord of all that exists). It is the Seven Oft-Recited Verses, and it is the Grand Quran that has been given to me.'
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا غُنْدَرٌ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ خُبَيْبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُعَلَّى،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ أَلَا أُعَلِّمُكَ أَعْظَمَ سُورَةٍ فِي الْقُرْآنِ قَبْلَ أَنْ أَخْرُجَ مِنَ الْمَسْجِدِ؟ ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فَذَهَبَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِيَخْرُجَ،‏‏‏‏ فَأَذْكَرْتُهُ،‏‏‏‏ فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ وَهِيَ السَّبْعُ الْمَثَانِي،‏‏‏‏ وَالْقُرْآنُ الْعَظِيمُ الَّذِي أُوتِيتُهُ .
ابوسعید بن معلّیٰ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مجھ سے فرمایا: کیا میں مسجد سے نکلنے سے پہلے تمہیں وہ سورت نہ سکھاؤں جو قرآن مجید میں سب سے عظیم سورت ہے، پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم جب مسجد سے باہر نکلنے لگے تو میں نے آپ کو یاد دلایا، تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: وہ سورت«الحمد لله رب العالمين» ہے جو سبع مثانی ہے، اور قرآن عظیم ہے، جو مجھے عطا کیا گیا ہے ۔

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: There is a surah in the Qur'an, with thirty verses, which will intercede for its companion (the one who recites it) until he is forgiven: Tabarakal-ladhi bi yadihil mulk (Blessed is He in Whose Hand is the Dominion).

They said: WHat is that, O Messenger of Allah? He said: Remembering Allah(Dhikr).
