It was narrated that 'Aishah said: The Messenger of Allah and I used to perform ablution from a single vessel, when the cat had drunk from it beforehand.

حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ رَافِعٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ وَإِسْمَاعِيل بْنُ تَوْبَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَا:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا بْنِ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ حَارِثَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَمْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ كُنْتُ أَتَوَضَّأُ أَنَا وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ قَدْ أَصَابَتْ مِنْهُ الْهِرَّةُ قَبْلَ ذَلِكَ .

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ میں اور رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ایک ہی برتن سے وضو کیا کرتے تھے اور اس سے پہلے بلی اس میں سے پی چکی ہوتی تھی۔

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that: The Messenger of Allah said: Cats do not invalidate the prayer, because they are one of the things that are useful in the house.

It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas said: One of the wives of the Prophet took a bath from a large vessel, then the Prophet came and had a bath or ablution, and she said: 'O Messenger of Allah, I was sexually impure.' He said: 'Water does not become impure.'

It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that: One of the wives of the Prophet took a bath to cleanse herself from sexual impurity, then the Prophet performed ablution and had a bath with the water left over from her ablution.

It was narrated that `Abdullah bin Sarjis said: The Messenger of Allah forbade men to perform ablution with the water left over by a woman, and women to perform ablution with water left over by a man, however both (spouses) may start to perform their ablutions at the same time.
