Translation

It was narrated that ‘Aishah said: “I covered a small room closet of mine, meaning, from the inside, with a curtain on which there were images. When the Prophet (ﷺ) came, he tore it down, so I made two pillows from it, and I saw the Prophet (ﷺ) reclining on one of them.”

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أَبِيهِ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْعَائِشَةَ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ سَتَرْتُ سَهْوَةً لِي تَعْنِي:‏‏‏‏ الدَّاخِلَ بِسِتْرٍ فِيهِ تَصَاوِيرُ،‏‏‏‏ فَلَمَّا قَدِمَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ هَتَكَهُ،‏‏‏‏ فَجَعَلْتُ مِنْهُ مَنْبُوذَتَيْنِ:‏‏‏‏ فَرَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مُتَّكِئًا عَلَى إِحْدَاهُمَا .

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ میں نے اپنے روشن دان پر پردہ ڈالا یعنی اندر سے، پردے میں تصویریں تھیں، جب نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم تشریف لائے، تو آپ نے اسے پھاڑ ڈالا، میں نے اس سے دو تکیے بنا لیے پھر میں نے دیکھا کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ان میں سے ایک تکیے پر ٹیک لگائے ہوئے تھے ۱؎۔

Ibn Salamah As-Sulami narrated that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: I enjoin each one to honor his mother,I enjoin each one to honor his mother,I enjoin each one to honor his mother(three times), I enjoin each one to honor his guardian who is taking care of him, even if he is causing him some annoyance.

Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with them, said that: Allah's Messenger said: They said: 'O Messenger of Allah, whom should I treat kindly?' He said: 'Your mother.' He said: 'Then who?' He said :'Your mother. He said: 'Then who?' He said: 'Your father'. He said : 'Then who?' He said: 'The next closest and the next closest.'
