Translation

Arabic, english and urdu

It was narrated that Abu Juhaifah said: “I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), and this part of his hair was white” – meaning the tuft of hair between the lower lip and the chin.

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاق،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ هَذِهِ مِنْهُ بَيْضَاءُ ،‏‏‏‏ يَعْنِي عَنْفَقَتَهُ.

ابوحجیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے یہ بال یعنی داڑھی بچہ سفید دیکھی۔

It was narrated that Humaid said: “Anas bin Malik was asked: ‘Did the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) dye his hair?’ He said: ‘He did not have any white hair apart from approximately seventeen or twenty hairs at the front of his beard.’”
