Translation

It was narrated that Salman said: “One of the Mothers of the Believers had a sheep that died. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) passed by it and said: ‘It would not have harmed its owners if they had made use of its hide.’”

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحِيمِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ لَيْثٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ سَلْمَانَ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ كَانَ لِبَعْضِ أُمَّهَاتِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ شَاةٌ فَمَاتَتْ،‏‏‏‏ فَمَرَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَيْهَا،‏‏‏‏ فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ مَا ضَرَّ أَهْلَ هَذِهِ لَوِ انْتَفَعُوا بِإِهَابِهَا .

سلمان رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ امہات المؤمنین میں سے کسی ایک کے پاس ایک بکری تھی جو مر گئی، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا اس پر گزر ہوا، تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اگر لوگ اس کی کھال کو کام میں لے آتے تو اس کے مالکوں کو کوئی نقصان نہ ہوتا ۔

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said; “None of you should walk in one sandal or in one leather sock. Let him take them both off or walk in both of them.”
