Translation

Salma Umm Rafi’, the freed slave woman of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), said: “The Prophet (ﷺ) did not suffer any injury or thorn- prick but he would apply henna to it.”

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا فَائِدٌ مَوْلَى عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي رَافِعٍ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنِي مَوْلَايَ عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَتْنِي جَدَّتِي سَلْمَى أُمُّ رَافِعٍ مَوْلَاةُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ كَانَ لَا يُصِيبُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَرْحَةٌ،‏‏‏‏ وَلَا شَوْكَةٌ،‏‏‏‏ إِلَّا وَضَعَ عَلَيْهِ الْحِنَّاءَ .

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی لونڈی سلمیٰ ام رافع رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو جب کوئی زخم لگتا، یا کانٹا چبھتا تو آپ اس پر مہندی لگاتے۔

It was narrated from Anas that some people from ‘Urainah came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) but they were averse to the climate of Al- Madinah. He (ﷺ) said: “Why don’t you go out to a flock of camels of ours, and drink their milk and urine.” And they did that.

Abu Sa’eed narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “On one of the wings of a fly there is a poison and on the other is the cure. If it falls into the food, then dip it into it, for it puts the poison first and holds back the cure.”

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “If a fly falls into your drink, dip it into it then throw it away, for on one of its wings is a disease and on the other is a cure.”
